Q: What is the Cartier Miss Pasha 27mm Ref 2973?
A: It’s a Swiss‑made, vintage ladies’ watch featuring a 27mm stainless steel case and matching bracelet, powered by a quartz movement and secured with a deployant clasp. This example is circa 2016 and offers the elegant, sporty Pasha aesthetic in a refined petite size.

Q: Is it water‑resistant and can I wear it for swimming?
A: As with most vintage watches, water resistance cannot be guaranteed without recent servicing and pressure testing. We recommend treating it as splash‑resistant at best and avoiding swimming, showering, or submersion. If light water resistance is desired, have the seals checked and replaced by an authorised watchmaker, and ensure the crown is fully secured before any exposure to moisture.

Q: What movement and battery does it use, and how long will the battery last?
A: The Miss Pasha uses a Swiss quartz movement. Most Cartier quartz models from this era take a standard 1.55V silver‑oxide button cell (often a 377/SR626SW), but the exact type should be confirmed by a professional during replacement. Typical battery life is around 2–3 years depending on use and storage.

Q: How do I set the time on this watch?
A: Gently pull the crown out to the setting position, rotate the hands to the correct time, then push the crown back in to start the movement. This reference is typically time‑only; if your example has a date, avoid changing the date between approximately 8pm and 2am to protect the mechanism.

Q: Will the 27mm size suit my wrist, and is it considered unisex?
A: A 27mm case offers a petite, elegant profile that suits small wrists particularly well and is traditionally marketed as a ladies’ size. Style is personal—some prefer the discreet presence of a smaller case regardless of gender.

Q: What wrist size will the bracelet fit, and can it be resized?
A: The listed bracelet length is approximately 13.5cm as currently configured. We can assist with sizing; additional links may be sourced subject to availability and may incur a fee. Share your wrist measurement and we’ll advise on fit or alternatives.

Q: What type of crystal does it have, and how should I care for it?
A: Miss Pasha models from this period typically feature a scratch‑resistant sapphire crystal. Even sapphire can chip if struck—avoid hard knocks, store the watch separately from jewellery, and wipe with a soft microfiber cloth. Do not use abrasive or chemical cleaners on the case or bracelet.

Q: How does Miss Pasha differ from the classic Pasha?
A: Miss Pasha distils Cartier’s Pasha design into a smaller, usually quartz‑powered format with a refined, feminine proportion. Classic Pasha models are larger and often feature automatic movements and additional design variations, but both share the round case and sporty‑elegant Cartier DNA.

Q: How often should it be serviced?
A: Quartz watches generally need a battery replacement every 2–3 years. A full service is recommended if you notice issues such as timekeeping irregularities, condensation, or degraded water resistance. Have gaskets inspected periodically, and keep the watch away from strong magnets and chemicals.

Q: What is included with this watch, and is it authentic?
A: This piece is delivered without accessories unless otherwise stated. A Retro Tale specialises in authentic luxury vintage and professionally authenticates every item. All watches come with a 12‑month guarantee on the movement, and this Swiss‑made reference (2973) is documented as circa 2016.
