Q: What typically fits inside the Céline C Macadam Boogie Bag?
A: With approximate measurements of 32 × 20.5 × 14 cm, it comfortably carries daily essentials: a large smartphone (including most Pro/Max models), a compact wallet or cardholder, keys, slim sunglasses in a soft case, AirPods, an A5 notebook/diary and a small cosmetics pouch. A standard tablet around 10–11 inches may fit when placed horizontally without a bulky case; A4 documents (29.7 × 21 cm) generally do not lie flat due to the height. If you’d like a tailored fit check for a specific item, just ask and we’ll test this exact piece.

Q: Can I wear it on the shoulder or crossbody?
A: This Boogie is a classic top‑handle bag with dual rolled leather handles and an approximate handle drop of 10.5 cm, ideal for hand or crook‑of‑arm carry. It does not include a long shoulder or crossbody strap.

Q: What is the exterior and interior layout?
A: Externally, the bag features two side pockets and a front flap pocket for quick access. Inside, it has a black fabric lining with three compartments to help organise your essentials. Please review our photos for the exact pocket/closure configuration of this piece.

Q: What does “C Macadam” canvas mean?
A: C Macadam is a heritage Céline monogram pattern composed of interlocking “C” motifs. On this bag it appears in grey canvas paired with dark brown leather trim and silver‑tone hardware—an understated, vintage look that wears beautifully over time.

Q: Is this an everyday bag and how secure is it for commuting?
A: Yes—its structured silhouette and multiple compartments make it practical for daily use. For commuting or travel, we recommend keeping the bag upright, placing valuables in interior compartments or a small zip pouch, and using the front flap pocket for flat, low‑profile items like travel cards or receipts.

Q: How much does it weigh?
A: The Boogie is structured yet not overly heavy for a canvas‑and‑leather bag. Weight can vary slightly by edition; if you’d like the exact weight of this piece, let us know and we’ll measure it for you.

Q: How should I care for the canvas, leather trim and hardware?
A: Keep the bag away from heavy rain and prolonged moisture. If lightly damp, blot (don’t rub) with a soft cloth and allow to air‑dry away from heat. Wipe leather trim with a soft, dry cloth and condition smooth leather sparingly with a high‑quality neutral product (test first on a discreet area). Be mindful of colour transfer from dark denim onto lighter leathers. Store upright, lightly stuffed, in a breathable dust bag, and avoid pressure on the leather and hardware to minimise imprints and hairline scratches.

Q: Where is this piece made and what is included?
A: This bag is labelled Made in Italy. For this listing we include: dust bag, authenticity card and booklet. If an accessory isn’t mentioned under “Accessories,” it isn’t included—feel free to contact us to confirm.

Q: How do you authenticate this bag?
A: Every item at A Retro Tale undergoes rigorous, multi‑point authentication by our in‑house experts, assessing materials, stitching, hardware, stamps and date/production codes, and overall construction. We stand behind the authenticity of every piece we sell and can provide additional photos or details on request.

Q: What does the condition grade “Very Good” mean for this item?
A: “Very Good” indicates light, respectful wear consistent with careful use. For this piece, the exterior and interior show light traces of use and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches. Please review the photos and description for close‑ups of any signs of wear.

Q: Will it fit a water bottle or laptop?
A: A slim 330 ml bottle may fit depending on shape, but a 500 ml bottle typically protrudes when upright. Laptops do not fit; compact tablets are usually fine as noted above. Compare your item’s dimensions with the Measurements provided or ask us for an on‑request fit test for this exact bag.
