Q: What size is this Medium Phantom Luggage and what does it typically fit?
A: The Measurements for this piece are approximately 30 × 28 × 24 cm with a handle drop of about 12 cm. It comfortably carries daily essentials such as a wallet, phone, a small cosmetics pouch, a water bottle and documents. It typically fits most 13-inch laptops when placed vertically or diagonally in a slim sleeve; please compare your device to the Measurements to be sure.

Q: Does the Phantom Luggage come with a shoulder strap?
A: No. The Phantom Luggage is designed to be handheld on its dual rolled top handles. Among the Luggage family, only the Nano version comes with a long strap; the Phantom does not.

Q: How does the Phantom differ from the regular Luggage Tote?
A: The Phantom features an open top with a strap closure and flexible side wings with laces that can be cinched for a narrower profile. The standard Luggage Tote typically has a zipped top and a more structured, upright silhouette. Both share the signature front zipped pocket.

Q: Is this style still produced by Celine?
A: The original Phantom Luggage from earlier collections is no longer part of the brand’s core line. However, Celine has recently reintroduced a new Luggage design inspired by the Phantom’s iconic look. This specific item is a vintage original from a previous era.

Q: How do the side laces and strap closure work?
A: To slim the silhouette, gently pull the side laces inward and tie them; do not over-tighten to avoid stress on the leather. The open top secures with the central leather strap that threads through the tab to help keep contents in place during everyday use.

Q: How should I care for the grained calfskin exterior?
A: Wipe with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth to remove surface dust, then allow to air-dry away from heat. Condition sparingly with a neutral leather cream a few times per year, avoid oils/solvents, and keep away from prolonged sunlight or rain. Store stuffed to hold shape and in a breathable dust bag. Avoid light-coloured leather contacting dark denim to minimise colour transfer.

Q: How should I look after the suede lining?
A: Use a clean suede brush to lift nap and remove surface dust. For small dry marks, a suede eraser can help; for liquid spills, blot immediately with a lint-free cloth and allow to dry naturally. If staining persists or the lining is delicate, seek a professional leather-care specialist rather than using household cleaners.

Q: Will it work as an everyday work bag for a laptop?
A: Yes for many users—its capacity suits office essentials and a slim 13-inch laptop in a protective sleeve. Because the Phantom is an open-top tote, we recommend a zipped sleeve for electronics and avoiding overfilling to keep the bag comfortable to carry and to preserve handle integrity.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: Everything included is listed under product information. For this piece, there are no additional items included beyond the bag itself. If you need clarification, our team will be happy to help.

Q: How does A Retro Tale authenticate this bag?
A: Every item undergoes multi-point checks by our specialists, including materials, stitching, hardware engravings, heat stamps, interior stamps/serials, and overall construction versus known brand specifications. We stand by the authenticity of all items we sell and can share further details on request.
