Q: What typically fits inside this Chanel CC Medium Diana Flap Bag?
A: With measurements of approximately 22 x 15 x 7 cm, it is best suited to daily essentials such as a phone, card holder or compact wallet, keys, lipstick and slim sunglasses. Bulkier items will take up space quickly, so we recommend using the Measurements on this page as your best guide.

Q: Can this bag be worn crossbody?
A: The strap measurement is 53 cm. For most people, that makes it most comfortable on the shoulder, while crossbody wear may sit quite high and will depend on your height and styling preference.

Q: What makes the Diana Flap different from the Classic Flap?
A: The Diana is especially loved for its elegant quilted body, smooth leather trim around the flap, CC turn-lock closure and longer leather-woven chain strap. Many collectors choose it because it has a distinctly vintage Chanel look and feels a little less common than the Classic Flap.

Q: Why is it called the Diana bag?
A: The Chanel Diana is a vintage Chanel style closely associated with Princess Diana, who was often photographed carrying it. That royal connection is one reason the design remains so sought after today.

Q: What condition is this bag in?
A: The overall condition is rated Very Good. There is scuffing on the corners, wear on the leather strap, light traces of use inside and light scratches on the shiny hardware.

Q: What does the interior look like?
A: This bag features a burgundy leather lining with one internal pocket, giving you organised space for smaller essentials while keeping the classic structured flap silhouette.

Q: What is included with this bag?
A: According to the product information, this item comes with a serial number only. The serial number is present but illegible. An authenticity card, box or dust bag is not listed, so those should not be assumed to be included.

Q: How should I care for this vintage leather Chanel bag?
A: Store it upright, lightly stuffed and away from direct sunlight, moisture and friction from delicate or dark fabrics. Wipe gently with a soft cloth and avoid overfilling it so the shape stays crisp. Vintage leather should always be handled with extra care to help minimise marks and wear.

Q: How do you authenticate this bag?
A: Every item at A Retro Tale is carefully vetted by in-house experts using detailed checks of materials, construction, hardware, stamps and serial details. We stand behind the authenticity of the items we sell and are happy to provide further product information on request.
