Q: How long is this necklace and where will it sit when worn?
A: The necklace perimeter is 82 cm, so it wears as a long necklace rather than a close choker. On most wearers it will hang around the upper to mid chest, though the exact drop will vary depending on height and build.

Q: How large is the Coco Mark pendant?
A: The charm measures approximately 8 cm high, 6 cm wide and 0.5 cm deep, giving it a bold statement look that stands out clearly when worn.

Q: What is this necklace made from?
A: This piece is listed in gold-tone metal. It offers the look of gold, but it is not described here as solid gold or fine jewellery.

Q: How does it fasten?
A: It features a spring-ring closure. This is a classic circular clasp style that is designed to fasten securely while keeping the finish neat and simple.

Q: Can I layer it with other necklaces?
A: Yes. At 82 cm, this long length works well worn on its own as a statement piece or layered with shorter chains for a more styled look. Because the pendant is large, many people prefer pairing it with simpler shorter necklaces so the Coco Mark remains the focal point.

Q: Can I wear vintage Chanel jewellery every day?
A: It is best worn with care rather than for heavy daily use. To help preserve the finish, avoid wearing it in the shower, while swimming, during exercise, or while sleeping.

Q: How should I care for this necklace?
A: Apply perfume, hairspray and makeup before putting it on, keep it away from water and humidity, and gently wipe it with a soft cloth after wear. Store it separately so the metal does not rub against other jewellery.

Q: Will the finish change over time?
A: Like most vintage fashion jewellery, the finish can develop light patina or signs of age over time and with wear. This example is already listed in very good condition with a light trace of use and shiny hardware with light scratches.

Q: Is any original product information included?
A: This item is listed with no additional product information included. If something such as a box, pouch or card is not stated in the product information, it should not be expected.

Q: How is authenticity checked?
A: A Retro Tale states that its vintage items are reviewed for authenticity by experts. For vintage Chanel jewellery more broadly, checks commonly include materials, construction, hardware, logo details and era-appropriate markings.
