Q: What is this Chanel bracelet made of?
A: Chanel fashion jewellery is typically crafted from gold‑tone metal with decorative elements like glass pearls and strass crystals. This bracelet features a curb chain, a heart charm adorned with mother‑of‑pearl and crystals with the CC logo, plus a single pearl charm. It is not solid gold.

Q: Is the fit adjustable and what wrist size will it suit?
A: Yes. It has an adjustable lobster clasp and extender links to fine‑tune the fit. It is best for wrists up to approximately 18 cm in circumference. Measure your wrist with a soft tape and allow a little ease for comfort.

Q: Are the charms removable?
A: No. The heart and pearl charms are designed as part of the bracelet and are not made to be detached.

Q: Can I wear it in water or during exercise?
A: We recommend removing the bracelet before washing hands, showering, swimming, or exercising. Keep it away from humidity, strong sunlight, and chemicals such as perfume, hairspray, lotions, and cleaning products to preserve the finish and stones.

Q: How should I care for the mother‑of‑pearl and crystals?
A: After wearing, gently wipe the piece with a soft, dry cloth. If needed, lightly dampen the cloth with lukewarm water and a tiny drop of mild soap, then dry immediately. Do not soak, use ultrasonic cleaners, or harsh chemicals. Store separately in a soft pouch to prevent scratches.

Q: Will the gold‑tone finish scratch or tarnish over time?
A: Normal wear can lead to light surface marks on plated hardware. Minimise this by avoiding friction with other jewellery, keeping the piece dry, and storing it individually. Applying cosmetics and fragrance before putting on the bracelet also helps protect the finish.

Q: How is authenticity verified?
A: Every item at A Retro Tale is rigorously authenticated by our specialists through multi‑point checks of materials, construction, and signature details. Chanel costume jewellery often features a signature plaque or stamp (e.g., CHANEL and a country of origin such as France or Italy), though stamp styles vary by era and model. We are happy to share additional photos or details on request.

Q: Can Chanel boutiques repair missing stones or provide maintenance for fashion jewellery?
A: Chanel boutiques may offer an assessment and advise on available repair or maintenance options for fashion jewellery; services and fees can vary by boutique and by piece. For recent boutique purchases, proof of purchase may be required. We recommend contacting a Chanel boutique for an evaluation.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: This listing includes the bracelet itself. Everything supplied is stated under the product information on this page; if something is not listed there, it is not included.
