Q: What is the length of this necklace and where will it sit?
A: The necklace has a 56 cm perimeter. On most wearers, that gives a longer necklace look that sits around or just below the collarbone, though the exact drop will vary slightly by neck size and styling preference.

Q: How large is the heart pendant?
A: The heart pendant measures approximately 4 x 4 x 0.5 cm, making it a noticeable statement detail without feeling oversized for everyday styling.

Q: What are the key design details of this piece?
A: This vintage Chanel necklace features gold-tone hardware, a chain-link design, a heart-shaped pendant with the interlocking CC logo, and a spring ring closure.

Q: Is this solid gold or fine jewellery?
A: No. This is a vintage Chanel fashion jewellery piece in metal with a gold-tone finish, rather than solid gold fine jewellery.

Q: What condition is the necklace in?
A: It is listed in Very Good Condition. The hardware remains shiny with light scratches, which is typical gentle wear for a vintage pre-owned piece.

Q: Does it come with a box, pouch, or authenticity card?
A: The product information states that no additional items are included with this necklace. If you would like confirmation before purchase, it is always worth checking with customer care.

Q: How should I care for vintage Chanel jewellery like this?
A: To help preserve the finish, avoid water, perfume, lotions, and harsh cleaning products. Wipe it gently with a soft dry cloth after wear and store it separately in a dry place to minimise scratches and oxidation.

Q: How is authenticity checked for a vintage Chanel necklace?
A: At A Retro Tale, vintage designer pieces are carefully vetted by in-house experts before listing. For Chanel jewellery, buyers commonly look for consistent construction, finish, and signature details alongside overall quality rather than relying on one feature alone.

Q: Where was this necklace made?
A: The country of origin label for this piece states France.
