Q: Is this piece worn as a bracelet or a belt?
A: Although the name references a belt-inspired design, this Chanel piece is intended to be worn as a bracelet. The listed bracelet perimeter is approximately 16.5 cm, so it is sized for the wrist rather than the waist.

Q: Will it fit my wrist?
A: This bracelet has an approximate perimeter of 16.5 cm. For the best fit, compare that measurement with a bracelet you already own or measure your wrist where you plan to wear it. Fit will depend on whether you prefer it close or slightly loose.

Q: Is the size adjustable?
A: This vintage toggle-clasp design is best treated as a fixed-size bracelet rather than a highly adjustable chain style. It does not have belt holes, and resizing is usually best avoided unless handled by a specialist jeweller.

Q: What materials and details does this piece have?
A: It features gold-tone hardware interwoven with black leather and is finished with a toggle clasp closure. The contrast between the chain and leather gives it the classic Chanel jewellery look collectors often seek.

Q: What condition is the bracelet in?
A: It is listed in very good vintage condition with light traces of use. The hardware remains shiny and shows only light surface scratches consistent with careful pre-owned wear.

Q: What is included with the item?
A: This listing is for the bracelet only. No box, pouch, authenticity card or other extras are noted for this piece.

Q: How should I care for vintage Chanel jewellery like this?
A: Apply perfume, lotion and make-up before putting it on, and keep it away from water, moisture and prolonged direct light. After wear, gently wipe it with a soft dry cloth and store it separately to help protect the finish and leather detailing.

Q: How is vintage Chanel jewellery authenticated?
A: Authentication is based on the full piece rather than one detail alone, including craftsmanship, finish, clasp construction and any signature or hallmark details that may be present. This item has been assessed before listing as part of A Retro Tale’s authentication process.
