Q: What typically fits inside the Chanel Label Click Flap Bag?
A: With approximate measurements of 29 × 20 × 9 cm, it comfortably holds a large smartphone (including most Pro/Max models), a continental wallet or compact wallet, keys, slim sunglasses in a soft case, a small cosmetics pouch and an A5 diary/notebook. A compact tablet (e.g., iPad mini/Kindle) generally fits; thicker cases or water bottles are best avoided to maintain the bag’s shape. For tailored fit advice for this exact piece, just ask and we’ll test specific items for you.

Q: Can I wear it crossbody and is the strap adjustable?
A: This model features a chain-and-leather strap with an approximate 50 cm drop for shoulder or crossbody wear on most frames. The strap is not adjustable. It also has a top handle with a 7 cm drop for hand or crook‑of‑arm carry.

Q: How secure is the closure?
A: The Label Click features a plaque push‑lock on the flap that “clicks” shut for everyday security. As with any flap bag, we recommend keeping valuables in the interior pocket and avoiding overfilling to ensure the lock engages cleanly.

Q: What is the interior layout?
A: This piece is lined in beige fabric and typically includes a main compartment with an interior pocket for small essentials. Layouts can vary slightly by production; please refer to our listing photos for the exact configuration of this bag.

Q: What leather is this made from and how does it wear?
A: It is crafted in black quilted leather; Chanel often uses grained calfskin (commonly called caviar) for added durability and scratch resistance on styles like this. Compared with smooth lambskin, grained calfskin is generally more forgiving in daily use while still feeling luxurious.

Q: How should I care for the leather and hardware?
A: Keep the bag away from moisture, oils and prolonged sunlight, and be mindful of colour transfer from dark denim. Wipe with a soft, dry cloth; if needed, use a high‑quality neutral leather conditioner very sparingly and test on a discreet area first. Store the bag upright, lightly stuffed, in a breathable dust bag; tuck the chain inside wrapped in soft tissue/felt to prevent imprints and hairline scratches on the leather and hardware.

Q: Will the chain leave marks on the flap?
A: Chain impressions can occur if the strap rests against the leather in storage. To minimise this, pad the chain with a soft cloth or felt, avoid pressing the chain against the exterior, and don’t overstuff the bag.

Q: What accessories are included with this item?
A: For this specific listing we include the internal serial number tag. If an accessory (e.g., box, dust bag, authenticity card) is not listed under “Accessories,” it is not included—feel free to contact us for confirmation.

Q: Where is this bag made and what about authenticity?
A: This piece is labelled Made in Italy and carries its original serial number sticker. Every item at A Retro Tale is rigorously authenticated by our in‑house experts using multi‑point checks of materials, stitching, hardware, stamps and serial details—we stand behind the authenticity of all items we sell.

Q: How does the Label Click differ from the Classic Flap?
A: The Label Click is distinguished by its signature plaque push‑lock and top‑handle design, pairing a structured flap silhouette with a crossbody‑friendly chain strap. The Classic Flap uses a CC turn‑lock and a double‑flap (on most sizes) interior. If you’re deciding between the two, we’re happy to compare capacity and carry options for your needs.
