Q: What does size 90 mean on this Christian Dior belt?
A: Size 90 refers to the belt’s marked size. As a general guide, Dior belt sizing is usually based on the measurement in centimetres to the centre hole, so a size 90 typically suits a waist or hip measurement around 85-90 cm depending on how and where you wear it. We recommend comparing it with a belt you already own for the best fit.

Q: Is this belt reversible?
A: Yes. This is a reversible Christian Dior Trotter belt, giving you two different looks in one piece. Reversible Dior belts are designed for versatile styling, so you can switch sides depending on your outfit.

Q: How wide is the belt?
A: The belt is approximately 3.5 cm wide. This width gives it a versatile look that works well with jeans, tailored trousers, and dresses with belt loops that accommodate a slightly wider strap.

Q: What is the Dior Trotter pattern?
A: The Trotter pattern is one of Dior’s best-known monogram styles, recognised for its repeating logo design. It is closely associated with Dior’s vintage identity and remains especially popular with collectors who appreciate archival logo pieces.

Q: What condition is this belt in?
A: This item is in very good condition with light traces of use. The hardware remains shiny with light scratches, as noted in the product information. As this is a vintage or second-hand item, minor signs of wear are normal and part of its character.

Q: Does the belt come with any extras?
A: No. According to the product information, this item comes with no accessories. If an original box, dust bag, or authenticity card is not listed in the product information, it is not included with this piece.

Q: How can I tell whether a Dior belt is authentic?
A: Buyers usually check the overall quality of the materials, the clarity of the Dior pattern, the finish of the hardware, and any interior stamping or size marks. Reversible Dior belts should also feel well made on both sides, with neat edges and consistent construction. At A Retro Tale, all items are carefully vetted for authenticity before sale.

Q: Is this belt easy to style?
A: Yes. A navy Dior Trotter belt is easy to style as both a statement accessory and an everyday piece. The 3.5 cm width makes it suitable for denim, high-waisted trousers, and some dresses or skirts, while the reversible design offers added flexibility.

Q: How should I care for a vintage Dior reversible belt?
A: Store it flat or loosely rolled in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity. Avoid over-bending the strap, and wipe it gently with a soft dry cloth after wear. As with most vintage designer belts, keeping the buckle and coated or textile side away from moisture and rough surfaces will help preserve its finish.

Q: Is a serial number included in the product information?
A: No serial number is listed in the product information for this item. That is not unusual for vintage accessories, and collectors typically assess Dior belts using a combination of construction, stamps, materials, hardware, provenance, and expert authentication rather than relying on one detail alone.
