Q: What typically fits inside the Fendi Mamma Corduroy Bag?
A: With approximate dimensions of 27 × 24 × 11 cm, this is a practical everyday shoulder bag. It will typically fit a phone, long wallet, keys, sunglasses, a small cosmetics pouch and other daily essentials. A small tablet or e-reader may fit depending on its case, but it is not designed for a laptop. Capacity can vary slightly depending on how you pack and on the natural shape of a vintage bag.

Q: Can this bag be worn crossbody?
A: No. This piece has a single adjustable shoulder strap with an approximate 22 cm drop, so it is best worn on the shoulder rather than crossbody.

Q: What are the materials and lining?
A: This bag features a brown corduroy exterior in a camel-toned shade, silver-toned hardware and a dark brown fabric lining. Inside, it has one internal zip pocket for smaller essentials.

Q: How does the bag close, and is it secure for daily use?
A: It has a magnetic flap closure finished with the signature FF buckle. This gives quick access while keeping the contents neatly covered for everyday use.

Q: How does the Mamma differ from the classic Fendi Baguette?
A: The Mamma was introduced as a roomier interpretation of the Baguette, keeping the recognisable flap and FF front while offering more height and overall capacity. It is a great choice if you like the Baguette look but want a more practical everyday shape.

Q: Does the bag have any internal organisation?
A: Yes. The interior is lined in dark brown fabric and includes one internal zip pocket, which is useful for smaller items such as cards, keys or lip products.

Q: What condition is this bag in?
A: It is listed in very good vintage condition. The exterior shows light traces of use with slight discolouration at the base, the interior shows light wear, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches.

Q: How should I care for vintage corduroy and hardware?
A: Corduroy should be handled gently and kept away from rain, oils, perfume, solvents and prolonged direct heat or sunlight. For day-to-day care, use a soft dry cloth or a very lightly damp cloth for careful spot cleaning, avoid harsh rubbing on the pile, and store the bag in a dry place to help preserve its shape and finish.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: No additional items are listed with this piece. Everything included is shown in the product information, so if a box, dust bag or authenticity card is not mentioned there, it is not included with this item.

Q: How do you authenticate vintage Fendi bags?
A: Every item at A Retro Tale is reviewed by experts before sale. For vintage Fendi bags, authentication commonly focuses on overall construction, materials, stitching, hardware, logo details and interior markings where present. No serial number is noted in the product information for this piece, which can happen with vintage items depending on era and placement.
