Q: What typically fits inside the Fendi Zucca Tote (approx. 19 × 33 × 15 cm)?
A: It’s a practical everyday size. Expect room for a large smartphone, continental wallet, keys, slim sunglasses in a soft case, a small cosmetics pouch and an A5 diary. A 500 ml bottle usually fits best laid horizontally. An 11‑inch tablet can fit when placed horizontally without a bulky case; A4 documents (29.7 × 21 cm) won’t lie flat due to the 19 cm height.

Q: Can I wear it on the shoulder or crossbody?
A: This vintage tote has dual flat leather handles with an approx. 12 cm drop, designed for hand or crook‑of‑arm carry. It does not include a long strap and isn’t intended for crossbody wear. Please check the “Accessories” field for what’s included with this exact piece (this listing shows no accessories).

Q: How secure is the closure and what’s the interior like?
A: The bag features a top zip closure for everyday security and a brown fabric‑lined main compartment that works well with small pouches for organisation. Our listing photos show the exact interior of this item.

Q: What is “Zucca” canvas?
A: “Zucca” refers to Fendi’s iconic FF monogram motif, widely used since the mid‑20th century. On many pieces it’s a hard‑wearing canvas with a protective finish, paired with leather trim. As this is a vintage item, fabric composition can vary by season and model; feel free to ask if you’d like us to describe the hand‑feel of this exact piece.

Q: Is the Zucca canvas durable?
A: Yes—Zucca canvas is known for being lightweight yet robust and more scuff‑resistant than uncoated textiles. As with any luxury bag, avoid overloading and prolonged abrasion to preserve the silhouette and print.

Q: How should I care for the canvas, leather trim and hardware?
A: Wipe canvas and leather with a soft, dry cloth; avoid harsh cleaners and alcohol‑based products. Keep clear of moisture and potential colour transfer (for example, dark denim against lighter leathers). Store the bag lightly stuffed, upright, in a breathable dust bag, and keep hardware from pressing against the canvas during storage. For any deeper clean, test gentle, fabric‑safe methods on a discreet area first.

Q: Is this style still produced? Where can I find Zucca totes now?
A: Specific Zucca totes like this are generally from past seasons and most readily found on the pre‑loved market. This piece is a vintage example authenticated by A Retro Tale.

Q: Where are the brand markings and codes on vintage Fendi bags, and what should I expect on this one?
A: Depending on era, you may see an interior leather tag with a serial number, a hologram sticker (used on many mid‑2000s bags), or newer embedded identifiers on later pieces. Placement and format vary with model/year, and numbers can fade on older pieces—presence alone doesn’t guarantee authenticity. This listing does not specify a serial number; we’re happy to share close‑ups and details on request.

Q: How does A Retro Tale authenticate this bag?
A: Every item is rigorously vetted by our in‑house experts using multi‑point checks of materials, stitching, hardware engravings, stamps/labels, serials or other identifiers where applicable, and overall construction. We stand behind the authenticity of every piece we sell and can provide additional photos or details on request.

Q: What accessories are included and what is the condition?
A: Everything included is listed under “Accessories.” This specific piece is noted as “no accessories.” Overall condition is Very Good with scuffing on corners and wear on the handles; the interior shows a light trace of use, and the hardware is shiny with light scratches. Please review photos and measurements for the best representation of this item.
