Q: What are the measurements, and what typically fits inside the Bolide 35 Cosmetic Pouch?
A: This piece measures approximately 35 × 25 × 14 cm. It comfortably holds full-size toiletries, a hairbrush, make-up, chargers, travel bottles, and even a slim tablet/e‑reader. Capacity depends on how you pack; compare your items to the measurements for best results.

Q: What is the lining made of, and is it wipe-clean?
A: Many Bolide cases are made with a cotton canvas exterior, lambskin piping and a polyester lining designed for travel use. Polyester linings are generally easy to wipe clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid soaking or submerging the pouch and keep liquids tightly closed inside.

Q: How many interior pockets does this pouch have?
A: Pocket layouts vary by production year and size. This specific pouch has three internal slip pockets as noted in the product information. Other editions may feature one or multiple slip pockets.

Q: Is the embroidered horse motif authentic to Hermès Bolide cases?
A: Yes. Hermès has released Bolide cases featuring a horse or rocking-horse embroidery on the front. It is a recognised design variant within the Bolide case family.

Q: Can I use it as a clutch or as an organiser inside a larger bag?
A: Absolutely. The Bolide case works as a travel toiletry bag, a catch‑all organiser inside a tote, or a minimalist clutch for daily essentials, thanks to its structured shape and secure zip closure.

Q: How should I care for the canvas and leather trim?
A: Spot clean the canvas gently with a soft, damp cloth and allow it to air dry. Do not machine‑wash. Keep the leather trim dry; if needed, wipe it with a clean, dry cloth and avoid harsh products or solvents. Store the pouch lightly filled in a breathable cover, away from direct sunlight and humidity.

Q: Can Hermès repair the zip, piping or other parts in the future?
A: Yes. Hermès offers official Maintenance & Repair (often called the Hermès Spa) for eligible pieces, including services such as changing a bag zip and mending seams. Turnaround and eligibility can vary; your local Hermès boutique can advise.

Q: Does this item come with any extras?
A: Everything included is listed under the product information section. For this item, there are no additional pieces included; if an item such as a dust bag or box is not mentioned there, it is not included.

Q: How do you authenticate this pouch, and does it have a date stamp?
A: A Retro Tale authenticates every item using multi‑point checks of materials, stitching, hardware and brand markings. Fabric Bolide cases typically do not carry the leather blind‑stamp date codes seen on Hermès handbags; dating is usually determined by labels, construction details and overall craftsmanship. We are happy to provide additional photos or details on request.
