Q: What size is this Hermès Clipper, and how does it wear on the wrist?
A: This watch has a 36 mm case, which gives it a classic mid-size look. It wears neatly and comfortably for those who prefer refined, understated proportions rather than an oversized watch.

Q: Is this watch automatic?
A: Yes. This Hermès Clipper uses an automatic movement, meaning it is powered by the motion of your wrist rather than a battery. If it has not been worn for a while, it may need to be wound and reset before use.

Q: Is the Hermès Clipper suitable for everyday wear?
A: Yes, it is a versatile everyday style thanks to its stainless steel case, clear dial layout, and timeless design. As this is a vintage pre-owned watch, we still recommend treating it with a little extra care and avoiding knocks, moisture, and rough wear.

Q: Can I wear this watch in water?
A: We do not recommend swimming, showering, or exposing this watch to water. With vintage watches, water resistance cannot be assumed, and the leather strap should also be kept dry to help preserve its condition.

Q: What does the transparent case back mean?
A: The transparent case back allows you to see the movement inside the watch. It is a detail many collectors enjoy because it lets you view the mechanical character of the automatic movement while wearing the piece.

Q: What is included with this watch?
A: This listing is described as a full set, and the original box is included. Everything included with this piece should be reflected in the product information for this listing, and you are welcome to contact us if you would like confirmation of any specific item.

Q: What is the condition of this specific watch?
A: The watch is listed in very good condition. It has light scratches on the case, light signs of wear to the strap, and shiny hardware with light surface scratches, which is consistent with careful vintage use.

Q: Can the leather strap be replaced in the future?
A: Yes, leather straps are usually replaceable, which makes this style easy to refresh over time. This watch currently comes with a black leather strap showing light traces of use, so a future strap change is an option if you prefer a renewed look.

Q: How should I care for the leather strap and vintage watch overall?
A: Keep the strap away from water, perfume, oils, humidity, and prolonged direct heat or sunlight. After wear, gently wipe the watch and strap with a soft cloth and store it in a dry place. For the movement itself, periodic checks by a qualified watchmaker are a sensible idea for any vintage automatic piece.
