Q: What is the Hermès Heure H 17mm Full Set 2013 watch?
A: It’s a Swiss‑made Hermès timepiece featuring the iconic H‑shaped stainless‑steel 17mm case, a light mother‑of‑pearl dial with Arabic numerals, and a stainless‑steel H‑link bracelet. This listing is delivered as a full set from 2013 and includes the box, outer box and two extra links as stated.

Q: What makes the Heure H design special?
A: The bold H‑shaped case—created in the 1990s and closely associated with designer Philippe Mouquet—celebrates Hermès’ initial, giving the watch a distinctive, jewellery‑like identity. Its crisp geometry and petite proportions make it elegant for everyday wear and dressy occasions alike.

Q: What movement does it use and how long will the battery last?
A: The Heure H 17mm typically uses a Swiss quartz movement for precise, low‑maintenance timekeeping. Battery life is usually around 2–3 years depending on use and storage. Many similar models take a 1.55V silver‑oxide cell; please have a professional confirm the exact battery specification for this specific watch.

Q: How do I set the time on this quartz watch?
A: Gently pull the crown out to the time‑setting position, turn the hands to the correct time, then push the crown back in firmly. This 17mm model is usually time‑only (no date), so there’s no date‑setting step.

Q: Is it water‑resistant and can I wear it in the rain or swim?
A: As a pre‑owned piece, water resistance cannot be guaranteed without recent servicing and pressure testing. Treat it as splash‑resistant at best and avoid swimming, showering or submersion. If light moisture resistance is important, have the gaskets inspected/replaced and always keep the crown fully pushed in.

Q: Will it fit my wrist, and can the bracelet be resized?
A: This watch fits a wrist up to approximately 17.25 cm as stated. The stainless‑steel H‑link bracelet can be sized by adding or removing links; this set includes two extra links. Share your wrist measurement and we’ll advise on sizing options before dispatch.

Q: What type of crystal does it use?
A: Many Hermès Heure H models feature a scratch‑resistant sapphire crystal. If you’d like us to confirm the crystal type on this specific watch, please contact us and we’ll verify it for you.

Q: How should I care for the stainless‑steel bracelet and mother‑of‑pearl dial?
A: Wipe surfaces with a soft, dry microfibre cloth. Avoid abrasive polishes, solvents, perfumes and excess moisture. Mother‑of‑pearl is a natural material—store away from extreme heat, humidity and direct sunlight. For the bracelet, periodic professional cleaning and careful link adjustments will help maintain finish.

Q: How can I confirm the reference and year details?
A: This piece is listed as reference HH1.110 from 2013, made in Switzerland. On request, A Retro Tale can provide additional photos and verify case/dial details against our internal records for this watch.

Q: Is it authentic, and what warranty/shipping do you offer?
A: A Retro Tale rigorously authenticates every item and guarantees 100% originality. All watches include a 12‑month movement guarantee. We offer free, fully insured DHL shipping, a 14‑day return policy, and 0% customs fees for EU buyers; contact us for any specific delivery or warranty questions.
