Jaeger-LeCoultreReverso 23x33mm Mechanical Watch

Q: What size is this Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso and how does it wear on the wrist?
A: This watch measures approximately 23 x 33 mm, giving it the elegant rectangular profile the Reverso is known for. It wears slim and refined rather than oversized, making it a strong choice for someone who prefers a classic, understated dress watch presence.

Q: Is this watch mechanical or battery-powered?
A: This is a mechanical watch, so it is not battery-powered. It is designed for traditional watch enthusiasts who appreciate manual interaction and classic Swiss watchmaking.

Q: How do you wind a mechanical Reverso like this one?
A: A mechanical Reverso is typically wound by turning the crown gently until resistance is felt. It is best to wind it carefully and avoid forcing the crown once it feels fully wound. Regular winding helps keep the watch running consistently.

Q: What is special about the Reverso case?
A: The Reverso is famous for its swivelling case, originally conceived to help protect the dial during play. Today, that reversible design is one of the model’s most recognisable and collectible features, combining Art Deco style with practical ingenuity.

Q: Is this watch suitable for everyday wear?
A: Yes, it can be worn regularly if treated with appropriate care. The Reverso is a durable luxury watch, but because this is a pre-owned mechanical piece, we recommend avoiding knocks, strong magnetic fields, and unnecessary exposure to moisture in order to preserve its condition.

Q: Is this watch water resistant?
A: As with many pre-owned luxury watches, we recommend treating it as splash-sensitive rather than using it for swimming, showering, or water sports. Water resistance can diminish over time, so cautious use is always the safest approach.

Q: What condition is this watch in?
A: According to the product information, the watch is in very good condition overall. It shows light traces of use, the movement is noted as being in very good internal condition, and the hardware is described as shiny with light scratches.

Q: Does this watch come with box, papers, or other extras?
A: No, this piece is listed with no accessories. For this item, please rely on the product information for exactly what is included with the watch.

Q: What year is this watch listed as?
A: The product information lists this watch as a 2017 piece. If you would like further clarification about the reference or production details, customer service can usually help with additional guidance.

Q: How do you authenticate pre-owned watches like this one?
A: At A Retro Tale, pre-owned luxury pieces are carefully vetted for authenticity. For buyers, key points normally include the watch’s overall construction, movement type, finishing, case design, dial details, and reference consistency.
