Q: What is the Louis Vuitton Epi Laptop Case?
A: This is a vintage protective sleeve and document holder crafted from Louis Vuitton’s signature Epi leather in black (Noir). It features a gold-tone zip closure and a green cross-grain leather lining. While designed for technology, its sleek profile also makes it suitable as a document portfolio or large clutch.

Q: Will my laptop fit in this 17-Inch case?
A: Although the model name references "17-Inch", the dimensions of this specific piece are approximately 38 x 27 cm. This width is typically better suited for laptops with 13-inch to 15-inch screens (and some slim 16-inch models). Modern 17-inch laptops are often wider than 38 cm. We strongly recommend measuring your device to ensure it fits within these dimensions.

Q: Is the case padded?
A: As a vintage luxury accessory, this case is constructed from sturdy leather but typically lacks the thick foam padding found in modern technical laptop sleeves. It offers excellent protection against scratches and minor bumps, but we advise handling your device with care.

Q: What are the benefits of Epi leather?
A: Epi leather is renowned for its durability and structured finish. It is dyed all the way through and features a unique two-tone textured grain that is highly resistant to water and scratches, making it an ideal material for daily business use.

Q: Is this item unisex?
A: Yes, the minimalist design and classic black colour make this case a versatile, unisex accessory suitable for professional environments or casual use.

Q: How should I care for Epi leather?
A: To clean, simply wipe the surface gently with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid contact with oil, grease, perfumes, and alcohol-based products (such as hand sanitisers), which can damage the finish. Store the case in a protective dust bag away from direct sunlight and heat to prevent fading.

Q: Where can I find the date code?
A: On vintage Louis Vuitton pieces, the date code is usually stamped along an interior seam or inside a pocket. On some older linings, the code may fade over time. A Retro Tale conducts rigorous checks to authenticate every item regardless of the visibility of the code.

Q: Does this item come with original accessories?
A: Vintage and pre-owned items often come with varying accessories. This specific listing is noted as having "no accessories", meaning the original box and dust bag are likely not included. Please refer to the photos and product details for confirmation.
