Q: What are the Louis Vuitton LV In The Sky Earrings made from?
A: They are Louis Vuitton fashion jewellery crafted in gold‑colour metal with faceted crystal drops, featuring LV initials and Monogram flowers in an intentionally asymmetrical design. They are not solid gold.

Q: Are they for pierced ears and how do they fasten?
A: Yes, this pair is designed for pierced ears with stud posts and butterfly backs for a secure, comfortable fit.

Q: What are the measurements of this pair?
A: Approximately 2.5 cm drop, 0.6 cm width and 0.2 cm depth per earring. Please refer to the Measurements section on this page for the exact dimensions of this item.

Q: How do they feel on the ear—are they heavy?
A: Their slim, delicate proportions make them comfortable for most wearers. If you have particularly sensitive lobes and would like the exact gram weight, please contact us and we will be happy to advise.

Q: Are they hypoallergenic?
A: As with most fashion jewellery made from base‑metal alloys, sensitivities vary from person to person. If you have known metal allergies, consider using barrier discs or silicone stoppers and avoid prolonged contact with moisture and perfumes.

Q: How should I care for gold‑colour Louis Vuitton fashion jewellery?
A: Put on fragrance and cosmetics before wearing, avoid contact with water and high heat, store each piece separately in its pouch or box to prevent scratches, and wipe gently with a very soft cloth after wear. For polishing or specific care, a Louis Vuitton boutique can advise.

Q: Can the asymmetrical pair be styled individually?
A: Yes. The design features one round‑crystal drop and one square‑crystal drop, so you can wear them as the original mismatched pair or mix and match with other studs for a personalised look.

Q: What comes with this item?
A: This pair includes the box. All inclusions are listed under Accessories; if an item isn’t listed or shown, it is not included.

Q: What is the condition of this vintage pair?
A: Very good overall with light traces of use; the metal remains shiny with light surface scratches consistent with gentle wear.

Q: Where were they made and how do you ensure authenticity?
A: Country of origin is France. Every item at A Retro Tale is carefully authenticated by our in‑house experts before it is listed for sale.
