Louis VuittonMonogram Keepall Bandoulière 55 Weekend Bag

Q: What are the measurements of this Louis Vuitton Keepall Bandoulière 55?
A: This bag measures approximately 55 cm wide × 25 cm high × 22 cm deep. The listed handle measurement is 10 cm, and the adjustable shoulder strap measurement is 52 cm. These are the measurements for this specific pre-owned piece.

Q: What can I pack inside this Keepall 55?
A: Its spacious weekend-bag format is suitable for clothing, toiletries, a pair of shoes and travel essentials for a short break. How much fits depends on the bulk of your belongings and how you pack. Avoid overpacking, particularly given the existing cracking on the leather tabs.

Q: Can I use this Keepall 55 as cabin baggage?
A: Louis Vuitton describes the Keepall 55 model as cabin-friendly, but acceptance is not guaranteed on every flight. Compare this item's listed dimensions of 55 × 25 × 22 cm with your airline's current size and weight allowance, and account for the handles and any bulging when packed.

Q: Does this bag have a shoulder strap?
A: Yes. This is the Bandoulière version, which offers a detachable, adjustable shoulder strap as well as top handles. A shoulder strap is included with this specific bag, allowing you to alternate between hand and shoulder carrying.

Q: Is the Monogram exterior leather or canvas?
A: The brown Monogram exterior is coated canvas, complemented by natural vachetta leather handles and trim. It is not an all-leather bag. The vachetta develops a darker patina over time, and this piece already shows patina as described in its condition information.

Q: What condition is this pre-owned bag in?
A: It is graded Very Good Condition. The vachetta leather shows patina, creasing, cracking on the tabs and minor marks. The interior is also rated Very Good, with light traces of use. The hardware remains shiny with light scratches.

Q: Which accessories are included?
A: The product information lists a shoulder strap. A padlock, keys, luggage tag, dust bag and box are not listed, so these should not be assumed to be included.

Q: How should I clean and store this vintage Keepall?
A: Gently clean the coated canvas with a soft, damp cloth and slightly soapy water, keeping moisture away from the vachetta leather. Avoid solvents, alcohol-based products, oils and leather lotions. If the leather gets wet, blot it promptly with a light-coloured, lint-free cloth. Store the bag in a breathable cover in a ventilated place away from heat and direct sunlight, and avoid overpacking. Seek specialist advice for the existing cracked tabs rather than attempting a home repair.

Q: Where was this particular bag made?
A: The supplied country-of-origin information identifies this bag as made in France. This applies to this specific piece rather than every Keepall 55 produced.
