Q: What are the main details of this necklace?
A: This vintage Miu Miu necklace features a gold-tone metal chain with an enamel and rhinestone cherry pendant, finished with a lobster clasp closure.

Q: How long is the necklace?
A: The listed perimeter is 39 cm. On most people this will sit as a short necklace, close to the collarbone, and may feel choker-like depending on neck size. Comparing it with a necklace you already own is the best guide.

Q: Is the length adjustable?
A: Only a 39 cm perimeter is confirmed in the product information. An extension chain is not specified, so it is best to shop on the basis of the stated length.

Q: What condition is it in?
A: It is listed in very good vintage condition with light trace of use. The hardware is described as shiny with light scratches, which is consistent with careful pre-owned wear.

Q: Does it come with anything?
A: The product information states that it comes with a box. If something is not listed in the product information, it should not be assumed to be included.

Q: Is this fine jewellery or fashion jewellery?
A: Based on the listed details, this piece is best understood as fashion jewellery: a gold-tone metal chain with enamel and rhinestone decoration, rather than solid gold or precious gemstones.

Q: How should I care for it?
A: To help preserve the finish, put it on after perfume, hairspray and lotions, keep it away from water, and wipe it gently with a soft dry cloth after wear. Store it separately so the metal and stones do not rub against other jewellery.

Q: Can I wear it every day?
A: It can be worn regularly if handled with care, but vintage fashion jewellery generally lasts best when reserved for light wear and kept away from showering, swimming, exercise and heavy friction.

Q: How do you authenticate it?
A: Every item at A Retro Tale is vetted before listing and sold with an authenticity guarantee. You can also review the photos and product information closely for extra peace of mind.
