Q: What is the exact reference and movement of this watch?
A: This is an Omega Constellation ref. 368.1075 from circa 1986. It is a chronometer‑certified automatic with a quick‑set date, powered by Omega calibre 1109/1111 (both used in this reference).

Q: How big is it and how does it wear on the wrist?
A: The case measures 36 mm. Thanks to the slim, flat case profile typical of 1980s Constellations, it wears neatly and suits a wide range of wrists for everyday or dress use.

Q: Is the strap original, and can I change it?
A: This example is fitted with a brown crocodile‑embossed leather strap. Many watches of this reference were originally supplied on integrated metal bracelets; strap changes are possible but may require a watchmaker familiar with Constellations from this era to ensure proper fit.

Q: What is the water resistance and can I swim with it?
A: The model carried an original rating of 3 bar (30 m). As a vintage piece, water resistance is not guaranteed. We recommend avoiding swimming, showering, or submersion unless the watch is freshly pressure‑tested and sealed by a professional.

Q: How do I wind and use the movement day‑to‑day?
A: It winds automatically on the wrist and can also be hand‑wound via the crown to start after it has stopped. When fully wound, the calibre typically offers around 44 hours of power reserve. Normal daily wear should keep it running.

Q: How do I set the date safely?
A: Pull the crown to the first click for the quick‑set date. To protect the mechanism, avoid changing the date during the “danger zone” (roughly 8 pm to 2 am). If unsure, first advance the time past midnight, then set the date.

Q: Is this watch chronometer‑certified and how accurate should it be today?
A: Yes—this Constellation was certified as a chronometer when new. Actual accuracy on a vintage watch depends on service history and wear; a recent professional service will help it perform closer to its intended standard.

Q: What is included in the product information for this listing?
A: The listing includes the watch as shown. No additional items (such as box, papers or extras) are included unless specifically stated under product information on this page.

Q: Is this suitable for daily wear and how should I care for it?
A: It can be worn daily with sensible care: avoid water and strong magnets, store safely when not in use, and have the watch checked and serviced periodically (typically every 5–8 years, with seals checked more frequently) to preserve performance and longevity.
