Q: Is this Omega De Ville a quartz or automatic watch?
A: This reference is a quartz model, making it a convenient choice if you prefer a watch with simple, low-maintenance day-to-day wear rather than a self-winding movement.

Q: What size is this watch, and how does it wear on the wrist?
A: The case measures approximately 24 mm, giving it a refined, elegant look that suits those who prefer a smaller and more classic watch size. It is a particularly good option for a slim wrist or for anyone wanting a discreet dress watch.

Q: Will this bracelet fit my wrist?
A: As listed in the product information, the bracelet currently fits a 14 cm wrist or smaller and comes with 3 extra links. A watchmaker or jeweller can usually resize the bracelet for a better fit.

Q: What is included with this watch?
A: This watch comes with the original box and spare links. Please refer to the product information for the full list of what is included with this piece.

Q: What condition is the watch in?
A: The watch is in very good overall condition. The external condition is described as good with light traces of use, the internal condition is very good, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches consistent with careful wear.

Q: Is the crystal sapphire?
A: Yes, this reference is fitted with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, which is valued for its clarity and stronger resistance to everyday surface marks than standard mineral glass.

Q: Is this watch water resistant?
A: This model was originally rated to 3 bar, or 30 metres. However, with any pre-owned watch, water resistance can change over time, so it is wise to have it pressure-tested before exposing it to water regularly.

Q: How long does the battery usually last?
A: The quartz calibre used in this model has a typical battery life of around 48 months when new. On a pre-owned watch, the remaining battery life can vary depending on when it was last replaced.

Q: Does a quartz Omega still make a good luxury watch purchase?
A: Yes, many buyers choose quartz Omega watches for their accuracy, slim profile and ease of use. In the De Ville line, quartz models are especially popular with those seeking a classic Swiss-made dress watch that is easy to wear and maintain.

Q: How should I care for this watch?
A: To help preserve it, store the watch in a dry place, avoid strong impacts and chemicals, and have the water resistance checked periodically. Professional servicing is also recommended over time to keep the movement and seals in good order.
