A: It is a vintage, Swiss-made wristwatch featuring a petite 26mm stainless steel Oyster case, a smooth steel bezel and a rare blue dial. This specific reference (6916) dates to 1973 and captures the classic, understated elegance of 1970s Rolex design.

A: This watch is powered by the Rolex Calibre 2030, a robust and reliable automatic (self-winding) movement. It features a hacking seconds function (allowing precise time setting) but does not have a quickset date mechanism, which was introduced in later years.

Q: How do I set the date on a non-quickset movement?
A: As this is a vintage non-quickset model, the date is advanced by turning the hands. To change the date, pull the crown out to the time-setting position and rotate the hands clockwise past midnight. You must complete two full revolutions (24 hours) to advance the date by one day. Repeat this process until the correct date is shown.
