Q: What are these earrings made of and where are they crafted?
A: They are part of Tiffany HardWear and crafted in sterling silver (.925) in Italy. The design is intended to be comfortable for daily wear.

Q: What is the size and how do they sit on the ear?
A: This pair measures approximately 8 cm long and 1.5 cm wide, with a post‑back for pierced ears. The graduated links create a fluid drop that moves with you.

Q: Are they heavy to wear?
A: They have a substantial feel due to the solid sterling silver and elongated silhouette, yet they are designed for comfort. If you prefer very lightweight earrings, consider shorter HardWear link styles.

Q: Do they come as a pair and what is included?
A: Yes, this listing is for the pair shown. Only the items listed under Accessories are included; for this piece, no original box or extras are offered.

Q: Will sterling silver tarnish and how should I care for them?
A: Sterling silver can naturally tarnish over time with exposure to air, moisture, chlorine and cosmetics. Maintain the shine by polishing with a quality silver cloth, or clean with mild soap and warm water; dry thoroughly and avoid bleach or harsh chemicals. Store separately in a soft pouch when not in use.

Q: Are they suitable for sensitive ears?
A: Tiffany sterling silver meets the .925 standard and is typically alloyed primarily with copper rather than nickel. Many sensitive wearers tolerate sterling silver well, but reactions vary; if you have a severe nickel allergy, a patch test is advisable.

Q: Are they hallmarked?
A: Authentic examples typically carry Tiffany & Co. signatures and metal purity marks (such as 925), and often an Italy stamp. Our team verifies all hallmarks and overall construction before listing.

Q: What inspired the HardWear design?
A: HardWear references a Tiffany archive design from 1962 and showcases bold gauge links with an urban, modern attitude.

Q: Can I wear them every day?
A: Yes. For longevity, put them on after fragrance or cosmetics, remove before swimming or vigorous workouts, and store safely when not in use.

Q: How does A Retro Tale authenticate this item?
A: Every piece is vetted by our in‑house specialists using multi‑point checks of materials, construction, stamps and workmanship. We stand behind the authenticity of all items we sell.
