CelineLarge Canvas Cabas Thais Tote Bag

Q: What typically fits inside the Céline Large Canvas Cabas Thais Tote Bag?
A: With approximate measurements of 40 x 30 x 17 cm, this large tote is well suited to daily essentials such as a long wallet, phone, sunglasses case, water bottle, notebook and small pouch. It can often fit a slim 13-inch laptop or tablet as well, but we recommend comparing your device to the Measurements listed here because there is no dedicated padded laptop section mentioned on this listing.

Q: Can this bag be carried on the shoulder?
A: Yes. With a handle drop of approximately 26 cm on this piece, it should sit comfortably on the shoulder for many people while still working well as a hand-carried tote.

Q: Is this a good everyday or work bag?
A: Yes, this large Cabas style is designed for roomy day-to-day use. The canvas construction helps keep it lighter than a full leather tote, making it a practical option for commuting, shopping, travel essentials or office basics. As with most structured canvas-and-leather totes, it is best not to overload it if you want to help preserve its shape over time.

Q: What materials is this bag made from?
A: This item is made from printed canvas with brown leather details and a tonal canvas lining.

Q: Does it have compartments or a zip closure?
A: This listing confirms a tonal canvas lining, but it does not specifically state a zip closure. If exact closure or interior layout details are important to you, please review the photos carefully or contact us before purchasing and we will be happy to confirm.

Q: What is the condition of this bag?
A: The exterior and interior are both rated Very Good with light traces of use. The hardware is shiny with light scratches, which is consistent with gentle pre-loved wear.

Q: Is anything included with the bag?
A: This item is listed with no additional items included. Please rely on the product information and images for exactly what accompanies the bag.

Q: How should I care for a vintage canvas and leather Céline tote?
A: We recommend keeping it away from humidity, direct heat, hand cream, perfume and make-up, and avoiding rough surfaces that may mark the canvas or leather trim. If it comes into contact with moisture, gently dab it with a soft, light-coloured cloth. Store it in a breathable dust bag or fabric bag, loosely filled to help maintain its shape, and avoid plastic storage.

Q: Is this bag authentic, and where was it made?
A: This piece is labelled as made in Italy. At A Retro Tale, all items are carefully authenticated by in-house experts using detailed checks of materials, construction, hardware and brand markings, so you can shop pre-loved with confidence.
