ChanelCC Tassel Patent Camera Bag

Q: What typically fits inside this Chanel CC Tassel Patent Camera Bag?
A: With measurements of approximately 20 x 16 x 6 cm, it is best suited to essentials such as a phone, cardholder, keys, lipstick and other small daily items. It is a compact vintage camera bag, so bulkier pieces such as a long wallet or large sunglasses case may be a tight fit.

Q: Can this bag be worn crossbody?
A: This bag has a single chain-and-leather strap with an approximate 45 cm drop. For most people, that length is best suited to shoulder wear rather than a long crossbody fit, although how it sits will vary depending on height and build.

Q: What are the main design details of this bag?
A: This piece is crafted in black quilted patent leather with gold-tone hardware, a zip closure and a signature tassel pull. Inside, it features black leather lining and one internal zip pocket.

Q: How should I care for vintage patent leather?
A: Patent leather has a glossy coated finish but it is still delicate. Store the bag upright, lightly stuffed, and keep the chain wrapped so it does not mark the leather. Avoid prolonged sunlight, humidity, overfilling and contact with fabrics that may transfer colour, and wipe it gently with a soft dry cloth only.

Q: What does the serial number tell me about the bag?
A: This bag includes serial number 0907564 and an authenticity card. Chanel used 7-digit serial stickers and matching cards on bags made between 1986 and 2005, and 0-series numbers are generally associated with the late 1980s. As with all vintage Chanel, the serial number should be considered alongside craftsmanship, materials and hardware details.

Q: What product information is included with this item?
A: The listed product information included with this bag is an authenticity card and serial number. If an item such as a box or dust bag is not listed on this page, it should not be assumed to be included.

Q: What is the condition of this vintage bag?
A: The bag is listed in very good condition overall, with light traces of use externally and internally. The hardware remains shiny with light scratches, which is consistent with careful vintage wear.

Q: Is this style practical for everyday use?
A: Small Chanel camera bags are loved for their lightweight, hands-free shape and easy zip-top access. This piece works especially well for lunches, evenings out, events and light daily use when you only need the essentials.

Q: Is this a current Chanel style or a vintage find?
A: This is a vintage Chanel camera bag. Camera bags have appeared as seasonal Chanel styles over the years, but this tassel patent version is best viewed as a vintage piece rather than a current permanent classic, which adds to its collector appeal.
