ChanelEmbossed Flap Bag

Q: What are the dimensions of this Chanel Embossed Flap Bag?
A: It measures approximately 25 cm wide, 15 cm high and 5 cm deep. It is a compact shoulder bag rather than a large everyday tote.

Q: What can I fit inside?
A: Its dimensions suggest room for small essentials such as a phone, cards, keys and a few cosmetics, depending on their size. We recommend comparing the measurements with the items you carry most often, as the usable interior space may be smaller than the exterior dimensions.

Q: Can I wear it crossbody?
A: The strap measurements are listed as 25/45 cm, but the product information does not specify how those lengths were measured. Crossbody fit depends on your height and preferred position; contact us if you need help assessing the fit before purchasing.

Q: What condition is the bag in?
A: It is listed in good condition. The exterior has rubbing and scuffing at the edges and corners, discolouration and marks on the leather, wear on the interwoven strap and some loose threads. The interior has stains and pen marks.

Q: What condition is the hardware in?
A: The hardware is shiny with light scratches, consistent with the bag’s pre-owned condition.

Q: When and where was this bag made?
A: Its recorded 10-series serial number is associated with approximately 2005–2006, and the country-of-origin information states France.

Q: Does it come with an authenticity card, box or dust bag?
A: A serial number tag is listed in the product information. An authenticity card, box and dust bag are not listed as included, so please do not assume they accompany the bag.

Q: How is its authenticity checked?
A: A Retro Tale states that its experts review details such as stitching, handles and other construction features when authenticating its items. A missing original authenticity card does not, on its own, determine whether a pre-owned bag is authentic.

Q: How should I care for and store the bag?
A: Avoid overfilling it and prolonged exposure to sunlight or moisture. Wipe it gently with a soft cloth rather than using harsh cleaning products. When storing it, support its shape and wrap the strap in tissue paper so it does not press against the leather.
