Christian DiorLady Dior Tote Bag

Q: What typically fits inside this Christian Dior Lady Dior Tote Bag?
A: With approximate measurements of 32 x 25 x 14 cm, this large tote is well suited to daily essentials such as a long wallet, phone, keys, sunglasses case, a cosmetics pouch and a tablet or slim notebook. If you plan to carry a laptop, we recommend comparing your device measurements carefully with the bag dimensions before purchase.

Q: Is this the large Lady Dior size?
A: Yes. This item is listed as the Large Lady Dior and offers a roomier, more practical shape than smaller Lady Dior formats, making it a strong choice for day use.

Q: Can this bag be carried on the shoulder?
A: Yes. This bag features dual chain and leather handles with an approximate 21 cm drop, so it can usually be worn on the shoulder as well as carried by hand. The fit may vary depending on your frame and outerwear.

Q: Does this bag include a detachable strap?
A: No detachable strap is listed with this item. This vintage version is designed with fixed chain and leather handles rather than a separate long strap.

Q: What product information is included with this bag?
A: This item comes with an authenticity card. Any included product information is listed on this page; if something is not mentioned, it should not be assumed to be included.

Q: What condition is this vintage bag in?
A: The overall condition is rated Very Good. The exterior and interior both show light traces of use, while the hardware remains shiny with light scratches. As with most vintage leather bags, minor signs of age and handling are part of its character.

Q: Is a Lady Dior suitable for everyday use?
A: Many collectors choose the large Lady Dior for day use because of its structured shape and generous capacity. That said, leather Lady Dior bags are best treated with care and are less suited to rough handling or wet weather than more casual everyday bags.

Q: How should I care for beige quilted leather?
A: Store the bag in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity, and keep it lightly stuffed when not in use to help maintain its shape. Use a soft, dry cloth for gentle cleaning and avoid overfilling, rain, and contact with dark denim or rough surfaces, which can cause colour transfer or scuffing.

Q: How do you authenticate this bag?
A: Every item at A Retro Tale is inspected for details such as materials, construction, hardware, stamping and overall consistency before being offered for sale. We stand behind the authenticity of all items we sell.
