GucciLarge Bamboo Horsebit Print Tote Bag

Q: What fits inside this Gucci Bamboo Horsebit Print Tote?
A: With dimensions of approximately 37 cm wide by 30 cm high and 13 cm deep, this tote is spacious and practical. It comfortably holds A4 documents, a 13-inch laptop, a full-size continental wallet, a water bottle, a cosmetics pouch, and other daily essentials. Please refer to the Measurements on this page to ensure it meets your specific needs.

Q: Will my laptop fit?
A: Yes, most standard 13-inch laptops fit easily within the main compartment. Larger devices (e.g., 15-inch) may fit horizontally depending on their casing, though the magnetic snap closure might not engage if the bag is filled to capacity. We recommend comparing your device’s dimensions with the bag’s measurements provided.

Q: Can I wear this bag on my shoulder?
A: The bag features dual flat leather straps with a handle drop of approximately 20 cm. This length is generally suitable for comfortable shoulder carry for most wearers, though it may be a snug fit over very thick winter coats. It is also designed to be carried by hand or in the crook of the arm.

Q: How secure is the closure?
A: This model features a central magnetic snap closure. It offers convenient access for everyday use while keeping the top gathered, but it does not seal the bag completely like a zipper. For valuables, we recommend using the internal zipped pocket.

Q: What is the interior layout?
A: The interior is lined in durable brown fabric and features a single spacious main compartment with one internal zipped pocket on the side wall, perfect for organising smaller items like keys or a phone.

Q: What materials is this bag made from?
A: It is crafted from a cream canvas featuring Gucci’s colourful Bamboo Horsebit print, accented with brown leather trim and handles. The hardware has a shiny finish. Please see the detailed condition report for specific notes on the material's current state.

Q: How should I care for the printed canvas?
A: Canvas is robust, but the light cream background requires care to avoid staining. Clean minor spots gently with a soft, slightly damp cloth (avoiding the leather trim). Keep the bag away from prolonged direct sunlight to prevent the print from fading. Store the bag lightly stuffed and upright in a breathable dust bag to maintain its shape.

Q: Is this a vintage item?
A: Yes, this is a vintage piece. The description notes it is in "Very Good" condition with light traces of use on the exterior and interior, and light scratches on the hardware. Vintage items possess unique character; please review our high-resolution photos to see the exact condition of this specific bag.

Q: How do you authenticate this bag?
A: Every item at A Retro Tale is rigorously vetted by our in-house experts using multi-point checks of materials, stitching, hardware, stamps, and overall construction. We stand behind the authenticity of all items we sell.

Q: What accessories are included?
A: Any included items (such as a dust bag or box) are listed under the “Accessories” section. For this specific item, the listing states "no accessories," meaning it will arrive without original packaging extras.
