Louis VuittonVernis Coin Purse

Q: What size is this Louis Vuitton Vernis Coin Purse?
A: It measures approximately 13 cm wide by 9 cm high. No depth measurement is provided, so check the product images if you need to judge how much it may hold.

Q: What can I carry in it?
A: It is intended for small essentials such as coins and folded notes. Cards may fit, but the number it can hold depends on the opening and internal layout, which are not specified in the product information.

Q: What colour and finish is it?
A: This purse is burgundy. Vernis is Louis Vuitton’s glossy, patent-finish leather, giving the piece its distinctive shine.

Q: What condition is this particular purse in?
A: It is listed in Very Good Condition. The exterior has marks, the interior shows light traces of use, and the hardware is shiny with light scratches.

Q: Is Vernis leather prone to colour transfer?
A: Yes. Louis Vuitton advises keeping Vernis away from materials that may release dye, including denim, magazines and other leather goods. Take particular care when storing the purse against dark or highly pigmented items.

Q: How should I care for and store it?
A: Gently remove surface dust with a soft, clean cloth. Avoid harsh cleaners, alcohol-based products and prolonged direct sunlight. Store it in a dry, ventilated place, away from items that could transfer colour onto the glossy surface.

Q: What does the code CA5111 mean?
A: Under Louis Vuitton’s date-code convention, CA indicates Spain and 5111 corresponds to the 51st week of 2011. A date code is a production marking, not proof of authenticity on its own.

Q: Does it come with a box or dust bag?
A: No additional accessories are listed for this purse. A box, dust bag or other extras should not be assumed to be included; refer to the product information for what comes with it.

Q: How is its authenticity assessed?
A: A Retro Tale states that its experts review the details of the luxury goods it sells as part of its authentication process. The date code is only one detail considered; it does not authenticate a piece by itself.
