MIU MIUClassic Tote Bag

Q: What typically fits inside this Miu Miu tote?
A: With approximate measurements of 38 × 36 × 13 cm, it comfortably carries A4 documents, a tablet, a long wallet, a water bottle, make-up pouch and daily essentials. Capacity varies by how you pack; please compare your items to the Measurements listed on this page.

Q: Will it fit my laptop?
A: The width and height accommodate most 13–14 inch laptops and many slim 15/16 inch models. For best results, measure your device (width, depth and thickness) and compare with the bag’s interior, allowing a few millimetres of clearance or using a thin sleeve for protection.

Q: How is it carried and does it close?
A: It has dual top handles with an approximate shoulder drop of 24 cm for hand or shoulder carry. The design features an open top. For added security, place valuables in a zipped pouch or use a bag organiser inside.

Q: What is included with this listing?
A: Everything included is always stated in the product information. For this piece, no additional items are noted.

Q: Do Miu Miu bags come with an authenticity card?
A: Many Miu Miu bags are supplied with a product card and care card rather than a separate “authenticity card”. The absence of such a card does not imply the item is not authentic.

Q: How does A Retro Tale authenticate this item?
A: Every piece is vetted by our in‑house experts using multi‑point checks of materials, stitching, hardware, logos and stamps. We stand behind the authenticity of all items we sell and can provide further product information or photos on request.

Q: How should I clean and care for the beige canvas?
A: Spot‑clean gently with a soft cloth and a mild soap‑and‑water solution, then blot and air‑dry away from direct heat or sunlight. Avoid soaking or machine washing. Store stuffed with acid‑free tissue in a breathable dust bag to help maintain shape. A fabric protector suitable for canvas can add light water and stain resistance—always patch‑test first.

Q: There is a light vintage odour—how can I minimise it?
A: Air the bag in a cool, dry, shaded area with good ventilation. Place odour absorbers (baking soda or activated charcoal) nearby in a breathable pouch for several days, repeating as needed. Avoid perfuming the lining, which can trap scents; patience and airflow work best.

Q: Any tips to reduce colour transfer and rain marks on light canvas?
A: Keep the bag away from dark denim and damp, freshly dyed garments, especially in rain or high humidity. Allow clothing dyes to set with a few washes before pairing. Use a fabric‑safe water and stain repellent on the canvas and wipe off moisture promptly.

Q: How should I care for the silver‑tone hardware?
A: Wipe with a dry, soft cloth after use. Avoid abrasive metal polishes and harsh chemicals, as some finishes are coated or plated and can dull with aggressive products. If needed, use a jewellery‑grade polishing cloth carefully, keeping agents away from nearby fabric or leather.
