OmegaDe-Ville Prestige 37mm Full Set 2026 Watch

Q: What size is this Omega De Ville Prestige?
A: Officially, this reference measures 36.8 mm across, which is why it is often rounded up and listed as 37 mm. It also has a slim profile, so it sits neatly under a shirt cuff and wears as a refined mid-size watch.

Q: Will it fit my wrist?
A: This specific example is listed as fitting a wrist up to 18.5 cm. Because it is a mid-size model on a steel bracelet, it can suit a broad range of wrist sizes, but the current bracelet length is the key fit point for this individual watch.

Q: What movement is inside the watch?
A: It is powered by Omega's automatic Co-Axial calibre 2500, a chronometer-rated movement with a date display and an approximate 48-hour power reserve when fully wound.

Q: Is this a men's or unisex watch?
A: Omega classed this size within the gents range, but 36.8 mm wears as a versatile mid-size and can suit many wrists regardless of gender. It is a particularly good choice if you prefer classic, understated proportions.

Q: Is the De Ville Prestige mainly a dress watch, or can it be worn every day?
A: The De Ville Prestige is best known as an elegant dress watch, but the steel case, steel bracelet and sapphire crystal also make it practical for smart everyday wear. It works especially well for office, dinner and formal settings.

Q: Can I swim or shower with it?
A: This model is rated to 30 metres of water resistance. That is generally suitable for light day-to-day exposure, but with a pre-owned mechanical watch it is sensible to have the seals and water resistance checked before any immersion in water.

Q: What is included with this watch?
A: This listing is described as a full set and includes the box. For the exact contents supplied with this individual piece, please refer to the product information section or contact us before purchase.

Q: How often should an Omega like this be serviced?
A: Omega recommends having the water resistance checked once a year and a complete service carried out roughly every 5 to 8 years, depending on wear and use.

Q: How do you authenticate this watch?
A: Every watch at A Retro Tale is reviewed by specialists using checks such as reference details, serial number, movement and overall construction. We stand behind the authenticity of the pieces we sell.
