GivenchyDangling Clip-on Earrings

Q: Are these earrings clip-on or for pierced ears?
A: These are clip-on earrings, so they do not require pierced ears. They fasten with a clip mechanism designed to sit on the earlobe.

Q: What size are these Givenchy dangling earrings?
A: The earrings measure approximately 5 cm in height, 0.6 cm in width and 0.5 cm in depth. This gives them a long, slim dangling look that is noticeable without being overly wide.

Q: Will clip-on earrings feel comfortable to wear?
A: Clip-on comfort can vary from person to person, but dangling styles like this are often worn for occasions and shorter to moderate periods of time. If you are sensitive to clip-ons, wearing them for a few hours at a time and positioning them carefully on the earlobe can help with comfort.

Q: What is the condition of this pair?
A: This pair is listed in very good condition. There is some peeling on the blue part, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches, which is consistent with gentle vintage wear.

Q: Are these earrings heavy?
A: The earrings are slender in width and designed as a dangling clip-on pair, so they appear more streamlined than chunky statement clip-ons. If you are particularly sensitive to ear pressure, we recommend considering the 5 cm drop and your usual comfort level with clip-on styles.

Q: What colour are these earrings?
A: The product colour is listed as multicolour. Please refer to the product images for the clearest view of the tones and finish, especially around the blue detail where wear is noted.

Q: Do these earrings come with a box, pouch or other extras?
A: No additional items are included with this piece. Please refer to the product information section for what is included with the order.

Q: How should I care for vintage clip-on earrings like these?
A: Handle them gently and store them in a dry place away from moisture, perfume and direct sunlight. To clean, use a soft dry cloth and avoid soaking, harsh chemicals or abrasive products, as vintage finishes and decorative surfaces can be delicate.

Q: How do you authenticate vintage Givenchy jewellery?
A: Every item sold by A Retro Tale is checked by in-house experts using a multi-point review of details such as construction, finish, hardware and brand markings where applicable. We stand behind the authenticity of the pieces we offer.

Q: Are these suitable for everyday wear or better for special occasions?
A: They can be styled either way, but the elegant dangling design makes them especially well suited to evening wear, events and dressed-up daytime looks. As with most vintage jewellery, gentler occasional wear will help preserve the finish over time.
