Q: What are these Gucci earrings made from?
A: They are described as 18kt yellow gold drop earrings with amethyst and Gucci’s Horsebit-inspired spike design.

Q: How large are the earrings?
A: The listed measurements are approximately 4 cm in height and 0.7 cm in width. Please use the product images to judge how the drops may sit when worn.

Q: What is the Horsebit detail?
A: The Horsebit is a Gucci motif inspired by equestrian hardware. Here, it forms part of the earrings’ distinctive spike-drop design.

Q: What condition are they in?
A: This pre-owned pair is listed in very good condition, with light traces of use. The gold-tone surfaces are shiny with light scratches.

Q: Do they come with a Gucci box or other accessories?
A: No accessories are listed for this pair, so a box, pouch or authenticity card should not be assumed to be included. Please refer to the product information for what accompanies the earrings.

Q: What type of fastening do they have?
A: The fastening type is not specified in the product information. Please contact us if you would like it confirmed before purchasing.

Q: How should I clean the gold and amethyst?
A: Gently wipe the earrings with a soft cloth. If they need a more thorough clean, use lukewarm water with a little mild soap, then rinse carefully and dry fully. Avoid steam cleaning and harsh chemicals; seek professional advice before using an ultrasonic cleaner.

Q: How should I store and wear them to protect the amethyst?
A: Store the earrings separately to reduce scratches, and avoid prolonged direct sunlight or heat, which can affect amethyst’s colour. Put them on after applying perfume or other beauty products, and take care that the drops do not catch on clothing or hair.
