Dimensions & Specifications

Bracelet width

0.8 cm

Q: How wide is the bracelet?
A: The bracelet measures 0.8 cm wide, equivalent to 8 mm. This measurement describes the width of the band, not its internal diameter or circumference.

Q: How can I check whether this bangle will fit?
A: The internal diameter, circumference and Hermès size are not provided in the product information. Please ask A Retro Tale to confirm these measurements before purchasing. For a slip-on bangle, the fit over your hand matters as well as the fit around your wrist.

Please note that the majority of our items are vintage and therefore have tales to tell unless stated otherwise. Therefore, please look at pictures, descriptions and measurements provided as they give you the best idea of the story this item has to tell.

* Please note that when you buy a vintage product, the dimensions may vary slightly from a new one depending on previous care and storage.

Q: What condition is this Hermès H Equipe Bangle Bracelet in?
A: This pre-owned bracelet is in very good condition, with light marks and scratches throughout the material. The hardware is shiny with light scratches.

Q: What colour is this bracelet?
A: The bracelet is listed as yellow. Please review the product photographs for its overall appearance and colour details.

Q: Does this bracelet come with a box or dust bag?
A: Yes, a box and dust bag are included, as listed in the product information.

Q: Can I wear the bracelet while showering or swimming?
A: Remove it before showering or swimming. Hermès advises protecting H Equipe lacquered-wood bangles from water, impact and abrasive products, so keeping this piece dry is the safest approach.

Q: How should I clean and care for this bracelet?
A: Gently wipe away surface dust with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid soaking, abrasive cleaners and attempts to polish out scratches. Protect it from knocks and contact with perfume or cleaning products; for marks that do not wipe away, ask Hermès for material-specific care advice.

Q: Can I stack it with other bracelets or wear it beside a watch?
A: You can style it alongside other pieces, but contact between jewellery or watch surfaces can cause scratches. Wearing it separately is the more protective option, particularly as this bracelet already has light surface wear.

Q: How should I store the bracelet when I am not wearing it?
A: Store it separately in the included dust bag or box, away from moisture and intense heat. Avoid allowing it to rub against other jewellery, and do not place heavy items on top of it.
