Dimensions & Specifications

Size

Q: What does size 56 mean?
A: The hat is labelled size 56. In metric hat sizing, this generally corresponds to a head circumference of approximately 56 cm. This is a sizing guide rather than a verified measurement of this individual hat.

Q: How do I check whether this hat will fit?
A: Use a soft measuring tape around your head, just above your ears and across your forehead, keeping it comfortably snug rather than tight. Compare your measurement with the labelled size 56. If you are between sizes or unsure about the fit, contact us before purchasing.

Q: Is this hat one size fits all or adjustable?
A: It is listed in size 56, not as one size fits all. An adjustable fastening is not specified in the product information, so please do not assume the fit can be altered.

Please note that the majority of our items are vintage and therefore have tales to tell unless stated otherwise. Therefore, please look at pictures, descriptions and measurements provided as they give you the best idea of the story this item has to tell.

* Please note that when you buy a vintage product, the dimensions may vary slightly from a new one depending on previous care and storage.
