Q: Will this strap fit my Louis Vuitton bag, and is it detachable?
A: The two snap hook clasps allow it to be attached to and removed from suitable bag attachment points. Compatibility with particular bag models is not confirmed. Check that your bag’s attachment points match the clasps before purchasing; not every Louis Vuitton bag will be compatible.

Q: What are the strap’s measurements?
A: The product description lists dimensions of 90 cm by 2 cm, but a separate height field lists 45. As these entries differ, please contact A Retro Tale to confirm the total strap length and how it was measured before purchasing.

Q: Can I use this strap to wear my bag crossbody?
A: Crossbody suitability is not confirmed for this item. It depends on the total strap length, your height and build, and your bag’s attachment points. Once the length has been confirmed, compare it with a strap you already find comfortable for crossbody wear.

Q: Is the shoulder strap adjustable?
A: Adjustability is not specified in the product information. Please contact A Retro Tale for confirmation if an adjustable length is important to you.

Please note that the majority of our items are vintage and therefore have tales to tell unless stated otherwise. Therefore, please look at pictures, descriptions and measurements provided as they give you the best idea of the story this item has to tell.

* Please note that when you buy a vintage product, the dimensions may vary slightly from a new one depending on previous care and storage.

Q: How should I care for this vintage Monogram strap?

Avoid abrasive rubbing, solvents, alcohol-based products and leather lotions on the canvas. Store the strap in a ventilated place away from direct sunlight, heat and damp conditions.
