Q: What are the dimensions of this Saint Laurent YSL Brooch?
A: It measures approximately 3.5 cm in height, 3 cm in width and 0.5 cm in depth. It is a compact brooch size that still stands out nicely on a lapel, scarf, collar or jumper.

Q: How does the brooch fasten?
A: It features a pin closure. For the neatest fit, it is best attached to a stable area of fabric so the brooch feels well supported when worn.

Q: What is the finish of this brooch?
A: The product information lists gold-tone hardware and a YSL logo motif. No precious-metal specification is provided, so it should be treated as vintage fashion jewellery and handled with care.

Q: What condition is this brooch in?
A: It is listed in Very Good Condition, with slight signs of use. The hardware is described as shiny with light scratches, which is consistent with gentle wear on a vintage piece.

Q: Does it come with a box, pouch or any extras?
A: No. The product information states no accessories. If an item is not listed in the product information, it is not included with the brooch.

Q: Can I wear this brooch on delicate fabrics?
A: Extra care is recommended with silk, cashmere and very fine knits. Brooches usually sit best on more structured materials such as blazers, coats, denim, scarves or thicker knitwear, where the fabric can better support the pin.

Q: How can I style a YSL brooch like this?
A: Classic placements include a blazer lapel, coat collar, scarf, shirt collar or the shoulder of a knit. Because this is a compact logo design, it also works well as a polished accent on a hat or near the neckline of a simple dress or top.

Q: How should I care for vintage gold-tone hardware?
A: Wipe it gently with a soft dry cloth after wear and avoid contact with perfume, water, chlorine and harsh chemicals. To help protect the finish, store it separately so it does not rub against other jewellery or hard surfaces.

Q: Is this brooch suitable for frequent wear?
A: Yes, but as a vintage item it is best worn with a little care. Removing it before showering, exercising or sleeping will help preserve the finish and the pin mechanism over time.

Q: Is this a vintage piece?
A: Yes. The product information identifies it as vintage, so light wear and minor surface marks are normal and part of the character of a pre-owned Saint Laurent accessory.
