Q: What is the Loewe Elephant Charm in calfskin?
A: It’s a playful, three‑dimensional elephant crafted from smooth calf leather, designed to be worn as a bag charm or key holder. Some versions also function as a tiny coin/earbud purse with a zip; please review our photos to see the exact configuration of this piece.

Q: What are the dimensions and what can it hold?
A: This item measures approximately W 9 x H 7 x D 4 cm (see the Measurements section). If your piece includes a zipped compartment, it typically fits coins, folded notes, a lip balm or wireless earbuds. Avoid overfilling to preserve the shape. If it’s the decorative charm without a zip, it’s not intended for storage.

Q: How do I attach it to my bag or keys?
A: Most Elephant Charms feature a key ring, lobster clasp or leather strap loop. Use the provided hardware to secure it to a D‑ring or handle and avoid attaching it to delicate zip pulls. Refer to the listing photos for the attachment style on this exact item.

Q: Is the calfskin water‑resistant and how should I care for it?
A: Calfskin is not waterproof. Keep it away from rain, oils and dyed materials that may transfer colour. Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth. Use a neutral leather conditioner sparingly and spot‑test first. Do not use alcohol, baby wipes or harsh cleaners; avoid prolonged heat or sunlight.

Q: Will the leather scratch or lose shape over time?
A: Smooth calfskin can show fine scratches and will soften with use. Minimise contact with rough surfaces, avoid overstuffing, and store it lightly padded to help maintain the elephant’s 3D silhouette.

Q: Will it fit AirPods or AirPods Pro?
A: Most zipped Elephant mini charms fit standard AirPods and many AirPods Pro cases, depending on case thickness. Compare your case to the listed dimensions to be sure.

Q: Where is it made?
A: Loewe small leather goods are commonly crafted in Spain or Italy. The exact country of origin is typically heat‑stamped inside; please check our product photos or details for this specific piece.

Q: Does it come with the original box or dust bag?
A: Inclusions vary for pre‑owned items. Please see the Accessories section and photos on this listing for what’s included. If an accessory isn’t shown or mentioned, it is not included.

Q: How is authenticity verified? Is there a serial or date code?
A: A Retro Tale authenticates every item through multi‑point checks and trusted partners. Some Loewe pieces include internal production codes or specific stamping, but formats vary and are not the sole indicator of authenticity.

Q: Can Loewe repair or refresh it if needed?
A: Many Loewe boutiques can assess repairs (e.g., edge paint or hardware) subject to evaluation, parts availability and fees. Policies vary by location. We can also recommend reputable leather specialists if boutique service isn’t available.
