Q: What size is the Céline Flower Brooch?
A: It measures approximately 10 x 5 x 1 cm, which is about 3.9 x 2 x 0.4 inches. Its scale makes it more of a statement brooch than a tiny lapel pin.

Q: How is the brooch fastened?
A: It features a classic pin fastening on the back, designed to secure the brooch to clothing or a scarf.

Q: What can I wear this brooch with?
A: Floral brooches are especially easy to style on blazer lapels, coat collars, knitwear, scarves and other structured garments. This design also works well as a decorative accent on a hat or the shoulder of a tailored piece.

Q: Can I wear it on a scarf?
A: Yes. Brooches are often used to decorate or help secure a scarf or shawl. Because this is a larger vintage style, a thicker scarf or heavier fabric will usually support it best.

Q: Will a pin brooch damage delicate fabrics?
A: It can leave a small hole in very fine fabrics, especially if the material is lightweight or loosely woven. For best results, wear it on sturdier fabrics such as wool, tweed, denim or thicker knits, and take extra care with silk or chiffon.

Q: What condition is this brooch in?
A: It is listed in Very Good Condition. The gold-tone hardware remains shiny with light scratches consistent with gentle vintage wear.

Q: Does it come with any original box or paperwork?
A: No additional items are included with this piece. If a box, pouch or paperwork is not stated in the product information, it is not included.

Q: How should I care for vintage gold-tone jewellery like this?
A: Wipe it gently with a soft, dry cloth after wear and avoid water, perfume, hairspray, cleaning sprays and abrasive polishing products. Gentle handling will help preserve the finish over time.

Q: How should I store the brooch when not in use?
A: Store it separately in a dry place, ideally laid flat so the flower motif and chain fringe are not pressed, tangled or caught against other jewellery.

Q: Why is Céline sometimes written with an accent and sometimes without?
A: The house was founded as Céline, and vintage pieces may reflect earlier branding conventions. Modern branding often appears as CELINE, so the spelling can vary depending on the era.
