Q: What typically fits inside the Céline Horizontal Cabas Bag?
A: With approximate measurements of 49 x 32 x 16 cm, this tote is roomy enough for everyday essentials such as a long wallet, phone, sunglasses, a cosmetic pouch, a notebook and A4 documents. It will usually suit a 13-inch laptop and some slim 14-inch laptops, but please compare your device with the listed measurements for the best guide.

Q: Can this bag be carried on the shoulder?
A: Yes. The dual flat leather handles have an approximate drop of 18 cm, so the bag is generally comfortable for shoulder carry as well as hand carry. Fit can vary slightly depending on what you are wearing.

Q: Does it come with a shoulder strap?
A: No detachable shoulder strap is listed for this item. This version is designed with dual top handles only.

Q: Does the bag have a secure top closure?
A: This bag has an open top rather than a zip or flap closure, making it easy to reach your belongings. For extra organisation, many buyers like to use a pouch for smaller valuables.

Q: What is inside the bag?
A: The interior is lined in tonal canvas and includes one internal zip pocket for smaller essentials such as cards, keys or a phone.

Q: What materials and colour does this bag feature?
A: It is crafted in cream canvas with brown leather trim, finished with gold-tone hardware. The listed colour is ecru, and the bag is labelled as made in France.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: Included in the product information are a dust bag, padlock and keys.

Q: What condition is the bag in?
A: The overall condition is rated Very Good. The exterior shows light traces of use, the interior has minor stains, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches.

Q: How should I care for a vintage canvas and leather Céline tote?
A: Wipe the canvas and leather gently with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth, and avoid abrasive surfaces, excess moisture, direct heat and prolonged sunlight. Store it in its dust bag, ideally lightly stuffed to help maintain the shape, and avoid storing it in plastic or against dark garments that may transfer colour.

Q: How is authenticity checked?
A: A Retro Tale states that its items are reviewed through a multi-point authentication process by trained experts, checking details such as materials, stitching, hardware and brand-specific features.
