ChanelCaviar Executive Cerf Tote Bag

Q: What size is this Chanel Caviar Executive Cerf Tote Bag?
A: This bag measures approximately 36 x 25 x 12 cm. The handle drop is 16 cm and the shoulder strap drop is 41 cm, giving it a structured medium-sized tote silhouette that works well for daily use and smart workwear.

Q: What typically fits inside the Chanel Executive Cerf Tote?
A: The medium Cerf Tote is well suited to everyday essentials such as a purse, phone, keys, sunglasses case, small cosmetics pouch, notebook and charger. Its structured shape and organised interior also make it practical for office use, though capacity will depend on how bulky your items are.

Q: Can this bag be carried on the shoulder?
A: Yes. This particular item includes a shoulder strap, so it can be carried by hand or worn on the shoulder. Please refer to the measurements on this page for the exact handle and strap drop.

Q: Will it fit a laptop?
A: A slim small laptop or tablet may fit depending on its exact dimensions and whether it is in a case, but we would not recommend regularly carrying heavy laptops in this style. Owners often praise the Cerf Tote as a work bag, but many also note that frequent heavy loads can affect the bag’s structure over time.

Q: Is caviar leather a good choice for everyday use?
A: Yes. Chanel’s caviar leather is widely appreciated for its grained finish, structured feel and better resistance to visible scratches than smoother leathers. It is one of the reasons the Cerf Tote remains a popular choice for daily and professional use.

Q: Is the Chanel Cerf Tote discontinued?
A: The Cerf Tote and Executive Tote are widely discussed in the resale market as discontinued Chanel styles, which is part of why they remain sought after. This makes pre-owned examples like this one especially appealing to collectors and buyers looking for a refined work tote no longer commonly found in boutiques.

Q: What accessories are included with this bag?
A: This item includes the product information listed on this page: a dust bag and shoulder strap. If you would like to confirm anything further about inclusions, feel free to contact us before purchase.

Q: What is the condition of this bag?
A: The overall condition is Very Good. Externally, there are minor scuffs on the handles. Internally, there is a light trace of use, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches consistent with careful wear.

Q: How should I care for Chanel caviar leather?
A: We recommend gently wiping the surface with a soft dry or slightly damp cloth, avoiding overfilling the bag, and storing it upright in its dust bag when not in use. Keep it away from prolonged direct sunlight, humidity and rough surfaces to help preserve the leather and structure.

Q: Is this bag suitable for work or business use?
A: Yes. The Executive Cerf Tote is especially popular as a polished work bag thanks to its structured design, elegant top handles, shoulder carry option and organised interior. It offers a professional look while still being practical for everyday essentials.
