Q: What does the Coco Mark refer to on this cuff?
A: Coco Mark refers to Chanel’s iconic interlocking CC logo. On this piece, it is used as the signature design detail, giving the cuff an unmistakable vintage Chanel look.

Q: What is this cuff made from?
A: The product information lists this piece as silver-tone metal with a chain-link design and an open cuff shape. Silver-tone refers to the colour and finish, rather than solid sterling silver.

Q: How will this cuff fit?
A: This bracelet has an approximate perimeter of 15.5 cm and an open cuff design. It should suit a slim to medium wrist best, but the easiest way to judge fit is to compare the listed perimeter with your own wrist measurement and allow a little room for comfort.

Q: Can an open cuff be adjusted?
A: Open cuffs can sometimes be adjusted very slightly, but it is best not to bend vintage metal repeatedly. Frequent reshaping can weaken the structure over time, so this piece should ideally be worn close to its current form.

Q: What condition is this piece in?
A: It is listed in Very Good Condition. The hardware is described as shiny with light scratches, which is consistent with gentle wear on a vintage item.

Q: Will vintage Chanel costume jewellery tarnish or change colour over time?
A: Like most vintage fashion jewellery, it may develop light patina or surface wear over time depending on use, storage, humidity, and contact with skin, perfume, or lotions. With careful handling, silver-tone Chanel pieces can continue to wear beautifully for many years.

Q: How should I care for this cuff?
A: To help preserve the finish, apply perfume, lotion, and makeup before putting it on, keep it away from water and harsh chemicals, and wipe it gently with a soft dry cloth after wear. Store it separately in a dry place to help minimise scratches and moisture exposure.

Q: Can I wear this cuff every day?
A: It can certainly be worn regularly, but vintage Chanel jewellery is best treated with care. For longevity, avoid wearing it in the shower, while swimming, during exercise, or while sleeping.

Q: Does this piece come with a box or authenticity card?
A: No additional product information is listed as included with this piece, so a box, pouch, or authenticity card should not be assumed unless separately stated on the product page.

Q: How do you authenticate vintage Chanel jewellery?
A: At A Retro Tale, pieces are checked by experts using a multi-point review of materials, construction, hardware, branding details, and overall consistency. This helps ensure the item is authentic before it is offered for sale.
