Q: What typically fits inside the Chanel O‑Case (approx. 23 x 17 x 1 cm)?
A: It’s ideal for essentials: a large smartphone (including most Pro/Max models), a slim cardholder or compact wallet, keys, lipstick, AirPods and a passport. Slim sunglasses in a soft sleeve may fit, but bulkier pouches and water bottles generally do not due to the slender profile. Please refer to the Measurements on this page or ask us for a tailored fit check for this exact piece.

Q: Will it fit an iPhone Pro/Max?
A: Yes—most Pro/Max phones fit comfortably. Very thick or rugged cases can make the fit snug. Compare your phone’s dimensions with the Measurements provided, or ask us to test the fit against this specific pouch before purchase.

Q: Will it fit a tablet or e‑reader?
A: Mini tablets (e.g., iPad mini) generally do not fit because of the pouch height. Many slim e‑readers may fit—please compare your device’s dimensions with the Measurements or contact us for a quick fit check.

Q: Does it have a strap or wristlet? Can I wear it crossbody?
A: The O‑Case is designed as a clutch/pouch with a top zip and no strap. Some owners use it as an organiser inside a larger tote. We don’t recommend aftermarket modifications (e.g., drilling, adhesives); if you’re considering a removable insert solution, ask us for guidance to avoid stressing the zipper or leather.

Q: How secure is the closure and what is the interior layout?
A: It features a top zip closure that provides good everyday security. Most O‑Case pouches have a single main compartment; some editions may include a small interior slip pocket. Please review our photos for the exact configuration of this piece.

Q: What materials and hardware does this piece have, and where is it made?
A: This listing specifies black quilted patent leather, silver‑tone hardware with a crystal‑embellished CC logo, black quilted fabric lining and a top zip closure. It is stamped Made in Italy. Our photos and description show the exact finish and details of this item.

Q: How should I care for patent leather and the crystal CC logo?
A: Keep patent leather away from heat, humidity and prolonged sunlight to minimise stickiness or colour transfer. Wipe fingerprints with a soft, dry microfibre cloth; avoid alcohol, acetone or abrasive cleaners. Store the pouch lightly padded, upright, in a breathable dust bag, and avoid pressing other items against the patent surface. For the crystal logo, prevent knocks and rubbing against hard surfaces, and clean gently with a soft, dry cloth only.

Q: Does patent leather mark easily?
A: Patent is durable and resists light moisture but can show fingerprints and hairline scratches with normal use. Dark denim and dyed materials can transfer colour—be mindful, even with a black piece. Rotate carry and avoid overstuffing to preserve the quilting and zipper alignment.

Q: Where are the brand markings and codes located, and how is dating handled?
A: Authentic Chanel pieces feature interior brand stamps and a country‑of‑origin mark (commonly France or Italy). Older items include a hologram serial sticker and authenticity card; more recent releases use an embedded microchip instead of a card. Placement and format vary by era—contact us for close‑up photos and help dating this specific pouch.

Q: What accessories are included and how do you authenticate?
A: Included items are listed under “Accessories.” For this piece we note a dust bag and a serial number tag. Every item at A Retro Tale undergoes rigorous, multi‑point authentication by our in‑house experts, assessing materials, stitching, hardware, stamps and serial sticker/microchip. We stand behind the authenticity of every piece we sell.

Q: Is the Chanel O‑Case still produced?
A: The O‑Case is an ongoing Chanel accessory, though details (lining, hardware and seasonal finishes) can vary by collection. The pre‑loved market is the best way to find specific configurations like black quilted patent with a crystal‑embellished CC logo.
