Q: Are these earrings suitable for non-pierced ears?
A: Yes. This pair has a clip-on fastening, so it can be worn without pierced ears. They can also be worn by someone with pierced ears if they prefer clip-on styles.

Q: What are the exact measurements of these Christian Dior earrings?
A: The earrings measure approximately 2.5 cm in height, 2 cm in width, and 1 cm in depth. Please refer to the Measurements on this page for the most accurate fit reference.

Q: Are these earrings solid gold?
A: No. This pair is described as gold-tone metal, which is typical for vintage fashion jewellery rather than solid gold fine jewellery.

Q: What design do these earrings have?
A: These vintage Christian Dior earrings feature a gold-tone metal finish with a swirl design, giving them a sculptural and elegant look that works well for both day and evening wear.

Q: What condition are the earrings in?
A: They are listed in Very Good condition. There is a light trace of use overall, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches consistent with careful vintage wear.

Q: What is included with the earrings?
A: A box is included with this item. Please refer to the product information for what is included with this specific piece.

Q: Are vintage clip-on earrings comfortable to wear?
A: Comfort can vary from person to person. Clip-on earrings naturally apply light pressure to stay in place, so some pinching may occur after extended wear. If you have sensitive ears, wearing them for shorter periods or adding removable comfort pads can help.

Q: Can the clip fastening be adjusted if it feels too tight?
A: Vintage clip mechanisms should be handled with care. We do not recommend forcing the clips, as older hardware can be delicate. If the fit feels too firm, a professional jeweller may be able to advise, and soft clip-on cushions can also improve comfort.

Q: How should I care for these vintage Dior earrings?
A: To help preserve the gold-tone finish, keep them away from water, perfume, hairspray, and lotions. Wipe them gently with a soft dry cloth after wear and store them carefully in their box when not in use.

Q: How do I know these Dior earrings are authentic?
A: A Retro Tale specialises in authentic luxury vintage pieces, and each item is checked before sale. If you would like extra reassurance before purchasing, you can always request additional details about the item’s construction and condition.
