Q: What is the Franck Muller Casablanca 25mm Ref. 1752QZ?
A: It’s a Swiss‑made ladies’ dress watch featuring Franck Muller’s signature Cintrée Curvex curved stainless‑steel case (25mm), a salmon‑colour dial with Arabic numerals, blued steel hands, a reliable quartz movement, and a stainless‑steel bracelet. It delivers refined Art Deco elegance in a compact size.

Q: What is the Cintrée Curvex and how does it wear?
A: Cintrée Curvex refers to Franck Muller’s iconic tonneau (curved) case with a convex crystal and case profile. The curvature hugs the wrist for comfort and gives the watch its distinctive Art Deco presence even at a petite 25mm size.

Q: What movement and battery does it use, and how long will the battery last?
A: The watch uses a Swiss quartz movement. Most similar models take a standard 1.55V silver‑oxide button cell (commonly a 377/SR626SW or comparable), but the exact cell can vary—please have a watchmaker confirm. Typical battery life is around 2–3 years depending on use; many quartz movements show an end‑of‑life indicator (the seconds hand may jump in two‑second steps) when the battery is low.

Q: Is it water‑resistant and can I wear it near water?
A: Dress‑style vintage watches should be treated as splash‑resistant at best. Water resistance cannot be guaranteed on pre‑owned pieces without recent servicing and pressure testing. Avoid swimming, showering, or submersion. If occasional light moisture resistance is desired, have the gaskets inspected and replaced by a qualified watchmaker.

Q: How do I set the time on this quartz Casablanca?
A: Pull the crown out gently to the time‑setting position, turn the crown to move the hands to the desired time, then push the crown back in to start the movement. Set the time on a clean, soft surface and avoid pulling the crown at an angle to protect the stem and seals.

Q: Will the 25mm size suit my wrist, and is it unisex?
A: 25mm is a petite case size best suited to small wrists. This example fits a wrist up to approximately 16cm. Historically marketed as a ladies’ watch, it can be worn unisex depending on personal style and preference for compact vintage proportions.

Q: Can the stainless‑steel bracelet be resized or adjusted?
A: Yes—bracelets can be sized by adding/removing links. We can advise based on your wrist measurement; additional links may be sourced subject to availability and may incur a fee. If you prefer, a compatible strap option can also be explored.

Q: What crystal does the Casablanca typically use—sapphire or acrylic?
A: Many Franck Muller Casablanca Cintrée Curvex models feature a curved sapphire crystal for scratch resistance. Crystal specifications can vary across references and production years; we’re happy to confirm the crystal type for this exact watch on request.

Q: How should I care for and clean the watch?
A: Wipe the case and bracelet with a soft microfibre cloth. For deeper cleans, use a lightly damp cloth on steel (avoid soaking the watch), then dry thoroughly. Keep the watch away from solvents, perfumes, and strong magnets. For longevity, replace the battery when low and have seals checked periodically by a qualified watchmaker.

Q: What is included, and how do you guarantee authenticity and after‑sales support?
A: This piece is delivered with no accessories unless otherwise stated. A Retro Tale professionally authenticates every item and offers a 12‑month mechanical guarantee on our watches. We can provide additional photos or details on request and arrange secure, insured delivery.
