A: The Cintrée Curvex 1752 QZ is a petite 25 mm tonneau-shaped case that hugs the wrist thanks to its signature curvature. This example is currently sized for a 15 cm wrist and includes three extra links for added length if needed.

Q: What movement does it use and how often will the battery need replacing?
A: The 1752 QZ uses a high‑precision quartz movement. Under typical use, battery life is around 2–4 years; we recommend replacing the battery proactively every 2–3 years or when you notice the seconds hand skipping or the watch stopping intermittently.

Q: Is it water‑resistant?
A: Cintrée Curvex models in this size are typically rated to 30 metres (3 ATM). That means protection against splashes and rain only; it is not suitable for showering, swimming or submersion. As this watch dates to 1993, seals may have aged—avoid water exposure and ask a watchmaker to check gaskets and perform a pressure test after any battery change.

Q: How do I set the time on this quartz model?
A: Gently pull the crown out to the second position to stop the hands, rotate to set the time precisely, then press the crown back in fully to restart. Always ensure the crown is pushed in securely before wearing.

Q: What does “Cintrée Curvex” mean?
A: It refers to Franck Muller’s signature curved tonneau design with a multi‑axis curvature that wraps closely to the wrist, giving a comfortable, elegant fit and the brand’s instantly recognisable silhouette.
