Q: How does the jump hour display work on this watch?
A: The Grip shows the time through two windows using rotating discs. The hour disc “jumps” to the next numeral at the top of each hour, while the minute disc advances continuously. There are no traditional hands.

Q: Does the 27mm Grip include a seconds hand or a date window?
A: No. The 27mm configuration displays hours and minutes only via two windows; it does not have a seconds hand or a date display.

Q: What is the water resistance and what activities is it suitable for?
A: It is rated to 3 ATM (30 metres). This is fine for everyday splashes such as rain or handwashing, but it is not suitable for showering, swimming, or submersion.

Q: What type of crystal does it have, and will it scratch easily?
A: The watch is fitted with a sapphire crystal with an anti‑reflective coating. Sapphire is highly scratch‑resistant for daily wear, though no crystal is completely scratch‑proof—avoid hard knocks and abrasives.

Q: What movement does it use and how long does the battery last?
A: It uses a Swiss quartz movement. Typical battery life for a simple quartz watch is around 2–3 years, depending on usage and ambient conditions; have the battery replaced by a professional when timekeeping weakens or stops.

Q: Will the 27mm case suit my wrist size?
A: The compact, cushion‑shaped 27 mm case wears neatly on smaller to medium wrists and is designed as a unisex style. The supplied strap generally suits wrists around 140–180 mm; a different‑length strap can be fitted if needed.

Q: Can the translucent blue rubber strap be replaced?
A: Yes. A professional watchmaker can replace it with a like‑for‑like Gucci strap or a compatible high‑quality alternative in the correct width. This also allows you to adjust the fit if your wrist is outside the standard range.

Q: How do I set the time on a jump‑hour watch like this?
A: Pull the crown to the time‑setting position, rotate to set the minutes; as the minute disc passes 60, the hour disc will jump to the next hour. Push the crown back in to secure and restore water resistance.

Q: Is it Swiss Made?
A: Yes, the Grip is Swiss Made, combining a Swiss quartz movement with Swiss manufacturing standards.
