Q: What size is this Hermès Amazonia Garden Party 36 Tote Bag?
A: This bag measures approximately 37 cm wide, 26 cm high and 16 cm deep, with a handle drop of around 15 cm. It is a practical everyday tote size with room for daily essentials and more.

Q: What typically fits inside the Garden Party 36?
A: The 36 size is known for being roomy. This piece should comfortably hold everyday items such as a long wallet, phone, keys, sunglasses case, pouch, notebook and a small water bottle. Please refer to the measurements on this page to judge the fit for any larger items you plan to carry.

Q: How is this bag carried?
A: This bag features dual rolled leather handles and is best suited to hand carry or carrying in the crook of the arm. Depending on your frame and what you are wearing, the 15 cm handle drop may feel too short for comfortable shoulder wear.

Q: How does the bag close?
A: This item has a snap button closure at the top, which makes it easy to open and access your belongings quickly.

Q: What material and colour is this bag?
A: According to the product details, this piece is crafted in brown Amazonia with dark brown leather trim and finished with silver-tone hardware. It also has an off-white canvas lining.

Q: What condition is this specific bag in?
A: This item is listed in good condition. The exterior shows cracking and scuffing on the corners, the interior has light signs of use with slight discolouration, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches. We recommend reviewing all photos carefully for the most accurate impression of wear.

Q: Is Amazonia a material that needs special care?
A: Yes. Vintage Amazonia pieces are often appreciated for their distinctive look, but they benefit from gentle handling and careful storage. Keep the bag away from prolonged heat, direct sunlight and excess moisture, and store it in a cool, dry place when not in use.

Q: Is this a good everyday bag?
A: Yes, if you like a spacious, understated tote. The Garden Party 36 is popular for everyday use because it is roomy, practical and easy to style. As this is a vintage Amazonia example with visible corner wear, many buyers prefer to use it thoughtfully rather than as a rough daily carryall.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: This item comes with no extra items included. Please refer to the product information on this page for the included details.

Q: Is this bag authentic?
A: Yes. At A Retro Tale, all items are carefully inspected for authenticity by experienced experts before being offered for sale.
