Q: What typically fits inside the Louis Vuitton Manosque PM?
A: With approximate dimensions of 23 × 19.5 × 11 cm, it comfortably carries daily essentials: large smartphone, continental wallet, keys, slim sunglasses in a soft case, travel cards and a small cosmetics pouch. An A5 notebook fits; A4 documents do not lie flat. A 500 ml bottle generally won’t stand upright but can lie horizontally, and an iPad mini–sized tablet may fit horizontally depending on its case.

Q: Can I wear it on the shoulder or crossbody?
A: The Manosque PM has dual top handles with an approximate 23 cm drop for hand, crook‑of‑arm or shoulder carry. It does not come with a long crossbody strap and typically lacks dedicated attachments for crossbody conversion.

Q: How secure is the closure and what is the interior layout?
A: This piece features a top zip closure for secure everyday use. It has a red Alcantara lining with one interior zipped pocket and an exterior pocket with a buckle closure for quick‑access items. Please see our photos for the exact layout of this bag.

Q: Is the Manosque PM still produced?
A: The Manosque PM is generally considered discontinued and is most commonly found on the pre‑loved market. Availability in boutiques is unlikely, making authenticated vintage examples like this one especially sought after.

Q: What is the common model code for this bag?
A: In Damier Ebene, the Manosque PM is commonly referenced on the pre‑loved market as model N51121. Codes can vary by variant or production details, so we’re happy to confirm any specifics for this exact piece on request.

Q: What materials is it made from and how “care‑free” is Damier Ebene?
A: The body is Damier Ebene coated canvas with dark brown treated leather trim and gold‑tone hardware. Coated canvas is light and durable, and the treated leather is more resistant to watermarks than natural vachetta; however, all leather should be kept away from moisture and potential colour transfer.

Q: How should I clean and care for this bag?
A: Wipe the coated canvas with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid harsh solvents and do not apply leather conditioners to the canvas; condition the leather trim sparingly with a suitable neutral product after testing a discreet area. Store the bag upright, lightly stuffed, away from direct sunlight, and avoid prolonged pressure on the handle glazing. Note that cracked canvas is generally not repairable.

Q: Where are the brand markings and codes located, and will this bag have a microchip?
A: Authentic Louis Vuitton bags feature an interior heat‑stamp (e.g., “LOUIS VUITTON Paris” plus country of origin). Older pieces like this typically include a date code on a leather tab or along the lining; from around 2021 LV transitioned to embedded microchips instead of visible date codes. We can help you locate and interpret the markings for this exact item.

Q: What accessories are included with this listing?
A: All inclusions are listed under “Accessories.” For this specific bag, the listing notes no accessories. If you’d like us to suggest a suitable dust bag or organiser, please let us know.

Q: How does A Retro Tale authenticate this item and can Louis Vuitton repair it?
A: Every piece undergoes rigorous multi‑point checks by our in‑house experts—materials, stitching, hardware, stamps, date code/microchip (where applicable) and overall construction. Louis Vuitton offers repairs subject to in‑boutique assessment; costs and lead times vary by issue and region. Common wear such as edge glazing may be serviceable, while cracked canvas typically is not.
